How did you get 6 votes in when you're only allowed 3?

Disappointed Ore won but I knew they were pushing him for the win in week 3 and they made it so obvious last week that it was a foregone conclusion. He got the best pick of dances to do on the night and was the most hyped.

I agree with others that the BBC should release the voting figures. People might believe in the BBC (ha!) but I'm definitely more dubious.

What part of "independently scrutinised" do people struggle to understand?
Probably the part where they don't name the independent scrutiniser. Just a guess! I'm really shocked that people just believe what they are told without any proof. The BBC are publicly funded and there should definitely be more transparency.

BIB - because tonight every online voter was allowed to vote 6 times - it told you as you logged on. I actually had 12 votes as I have 2 e-mails and registered them both. 8 votes to Ore, 4 to Danny.

No, dubious means to be suspicious or doubting. Always question everything. Otherwise you'll come a cropper at some stage in your life!

I hoped and expected Danny and Oti to win, but Ore and Joanne clearly had the better night. Some people here sound very bitter.

Danny based on the series as a whole, is the winner. But based on that final Ore thrashed both Louise and Danny, he was incredible.

Yes congratulations. You're very clever. Much smarter than everyone else because you didn't allow the BBC to pull the wool over your eyes regarding A CELEBRITY DANCE COMPETITION.

People are allowed their own opinion you know .....
I agree that the voting figures should be released, especially due to all the fix claims this series.

The Final is decided by viewers votes alone, and the final is watched by a lot of people who don't watch the rest fo the series.

Bearing in mind the finalists were probably quite close week in / week out in votes - it would be the newbie voters who decided.

A huge % of these would be tweenies who normally watch X-Factor - as that is finished they watch the Strictly final and vote in huge numbers.

All the finals in the last few years have been won by Celebs who appeal to 11- 14 year old girls.

Ore did Newsround for many years - so these tweeny voters would be very familiar with him, so would be willing to vote for him.
To these voters Louise would be ancient - so they would not vote for her.
Danny did Hollyoaks until recently, but would not have got many "new" votes if he had played a "nasty" character (The Natalie Gumede effect). Unless he played a "nice" hearthrob character he would be hamperd.

On paper Ore was my pick - no matter how he danced, as he was familiar to the younger new voters.

Simples

The right result is the one the public voted for.

It may not be the result the OP wanted but it's not the "wrong" result.
This.

the voting lines were rigged. the trophy is Danny's and he should have it, he is the true winner
Maybe there should be another petition.

Everyone wanted Danny to dance his Samba and QS again, and that's what he got. Both he and Ore got their best dances in the final and both had great showdances. If anyone was screwed by the pick of a dances it was Louise, and one of them was her and Kevin's fault.

The BBC isn't going to mess up one of its biggest shows to ~rig it. What is the point? They win regardless of whoever lifts the naff trophy - they gain nothing by fixing it.

Congrats to all the finalists and celebs this year - it was a brilliant year, a great final and a deserving winner.

Was it just me that noticed the glaring timing issue in the side by side section of Danny's showdance!? Even he looked disheartened and shocked that the judges didn't bring it up!

Nonsense. People trot out this crap all the time. The BBC are scrutinised left, right and centre more than any channel simply BECAUSE they are a public organisation. If there was any whiff of a fix we woukd soon find out about it. And besides, this was a celebrity dance competition, not the presidency of the USA or something. There are more important things to worry about being fixed. I pity people that can't enjoy entertainment for what it is.

No problem, I get annoyed when people who post WHAT THEY THINK get told they're being horrid or bitter or taking away from the winner. Everyone is entitled to their opinion on tonight, and the idea of a forum is to express opinions!

I didn't notice a thing wrong with it, I was completely mesmerised throughout - dance of the night for me. But he messed up the QS and Ore didn't put a foot wrong all night, so based on tonight it was a fair result without a doubt.

Nope, not just you. But his dances were so frenetic (and I don't mean that in a good way) that possibly many did miss it.

Not sure they were errors - as the dance was a free dance so they could have been explained away!!

Ore won fair and square. He danced beautifully tonight.
Can't argue with that!

Oh I envy you your innocence. The BBC is one of the most corrupt organisations in this country! And still nobody can name that independent verifier. I don't think anyone is worrying that much about the show being fixed, we're just giving our thoughts. I couldn't really care less. Actually, it's quite a lot of fun to wind people up on here with conspiracy theories!
