He was way behind her at one point and lost his way. Worth a watch back as I knew he had lost it at that point after two glaring obvious mistakes in two dances.

We get this conspiracy theory every year and it doesn't make sense, and it doesn't make sense now.

You are saying that the BBC, after losing Bakeoff, are going to risk the reputation of one of their biggest show, to help one of their largely unknown sports reporters? It just doesn't make any sense...if they were fixing it for anyone, surely they'd fix it for one of their high profiled Eastenders stars or something. Not someone who largely works freelance for them. The reward of this mythical fix for the BBC doesn't make the risk worth it.

Glad it wasn't just me, thought it was actually quite obvious and at that point I thought he couldn't win.

Releasing the votes wouldn't settle anything. People who believe it's a fix would just say that they have doctored the votes that have been released.

And that men never landed on the moon. There is no arguing with them. Their tin foil hats block all common sense.

don't trust the BBC, they protected J.S for years and knew all along what he was doing to his victims

why people can't just enjoy the most entertaining show on TV without feeling the need to wade through the conspiracy-theory quagmire is beyond me....Confucius he say, the internet is full of knobeads...

Tell that to Jeremy Clarkson, Arlene Phillips, Moira Stuart, Danny Baker, Tony Blackburn and many others of the BBC's 'own' whom they have not looked after.

Only came on here to see the 'wrong result' thread because it happens every year.

I don't ever bother moaning about a wrong winner because it cannot be? Every year the public vote & the majority wins. This year Ore & Jo got the majority of votes & I'll be honest in saying I'm very happy with this result. That said, if Louise or Danny had won, I also would of been pleased.

They've all worked hard & it's been one of my favourite series with one of my favourite winner.

A little life lesson-not every thing is about you.

Quite. The BBC are notorious for completely shafting 'their own' when it suits.

Oh, don't be so childish. By the way, that's probably also libellous.

I didn't watch . The perfect perfection dancing of the finals bores me rigid , but I really hope all the dance enthusiasts enjoyed the show .💃💃💃

So , Ore won . Good for him . I wasn't bothered who would win , but he was the only genuinely inexperienced person in the final and he managed to grab the trophy from the trained dancers , so it just proves my point that filling the show with genuine non-experienced/untrained celebs could indeed work .
There are sure to be other Ores out there . Ditch the trained stage school/ballet/musical-trained brats and use total noobies .You know it makes sense .

Well the shallow me would have awarded Louise the win purely for the leotard, but seriously I think it was the right result.
Danny was by far the best dancer, looked like a pro, but that isn't necessarily a plus point with the public where Strictly is concerned. He would have to have been perfect tonight to satisfy the bulk vote and he wasn't. Louise never quite had enough spark to carry the vote. Ore had the "journey" and progressed, and crucially didn't mess up tonight which gave enough voters what they wanted-enough of a reason to make the non dancer the champion.

Does anybody else find it ironic that you're accusing Ore of being a crybaby?

I was pretty neutral coming into the final, my favourite (Daisy) went out a while back, but I am pleased Ore won. He danced best on the night, by far.

It's not the result I would have voted for, but it's never the wrong result. (But easy for me to say as I wasn't massively invested in any of the finalists).

Ore probably got most of his votes online as he has a lot of younger fans who might not get permission to vote so many times by phone but are savvy enough to get their six votes in on the BBC website.

Easy enough to persuade their parents to let them if it is cheaper to do it that way!

Blimey . Is this gonna be like a Godwins Theory thing ? Where if a discussion goes on long enough Saville gets dragged up ?
Very odd comparison . Besides being irrelevant since JS didn't do Strictly .

how on EARTH can it be the wrong result WHEN THE PUBLIC VOTED AND THE PUBLIC ALONE
