Yes agreed.
That's showdance from Jo was on a different level. So happy that the best dancer on the night won. That's how it should be. Good to see Kevin hugging his sister. I like him but I don't think Louise really bought it in the final. |

Wanted Danny & Oti but very pleased that the most deserving couple won on the night.
I also predicted that we could have out first black Strictly winner this year as soon as Ore was announced. and, as a fellow Nigerian, I'm so happy he did it. Didn't previously like Jo but she and Oti have been standout choreographers this year so very well done to her...especially as she was so gracious in sitting out last year. Proof that all good things come to those who wait! |

I agree. I've loved Danny through the series but I thought Ore outclassed him in the first two dances tonight. Amazing job from Jo teaching that amount of technique to a beginner.

I would have said Danny based on the series and I have previously voted for him, but I agree Ore deserved it based on tonight and I voted for him for the first time in the series!
but Ore's showdance won my votes in the end |

I am going to sit and watch it all over and enjoy all the dancing. I missed Ed. Well done to Ore, Jo, Danny, Oti, Louise and Kevin - nice to see 'arry and Sandra in the audience - well done to all of them, especially Ore who travelled an immense journey.

Massive congratulations to ore and jo. Danced the best on the night and really pleased to see a non-dancer win. Danny and louise were a bit lacklustre for me.
Still think claudia should have been in the final. |

I have no issues with that result - I wanted Danny & Oti to win and voted for them (I can forgive the mistakes in the QS when he was exceptional the rest of the time), but Ore & Jo were undoubtedly the best on the night and they absolutely deserved to win, I'm very pleased for them.

Well done Ore. Either you or Danny would have been worthy winners
I enjoyed that tonight, great to see proper dancing showdances, rather than the liftathons which showdances can become. |

I thought they were fantastic tonight. Only disappointment was the jive wasn't as good as first time around, but it didn't matter!
I've been more of a Danny fan throughout, but have always liked Ore too. And Louise actually. So nice to watch a final where any outcome would be welcome! |

I didn't think Jo could top her AS and Jive choreography and then she did with that incredible Showdance. Blown away by Ore dancing all three routines to that level, Jo is a phenomenal teacher.
Deserving winners, I'll watch their dances again and again and for me I'll remember them by the picture perfect ending to their American Smooth. |

I think it was the right result as his 3 dances were all Good. Danny made mistakes and Louise's first dance was terrible.

Very pleased with the result and that, for once, the expected didn't happen. They did the best show dance and the other two dances were superb as well. Couldn't believe how high Ore could liftt those long legs and how light on his feet! I didn't vote for anyone but nearly picked up the phone to vote for Ore so he was shining tonight

Lovely surprise! I really thought Ore and Joanne were the most consistent overall this evening but was fully expecting (and no begrudging in any way!) a Danny and Oti win. I'm so pleased for Oti and Joanne in particular for getting to the final they've made some brilliant routines for their celebs and the level Jo has gotten Ore to has been brilliant. I've had mixed feelings on this series but as for the celebrities this year I've utterly loved it this year! Great end to a great show really!

I wanted Danny to win but pleased with the result. Ore's showdance was one of the best I've seen (although I loved Danny's as well) and he really pulled it out of the bag tonight. Thrilled for Jo too, I do love her. I booked tickets for Thoroughly Modern Millie today, just because she is in it.

on paper, and often on the show, danny was the better dancer, but ore has genuine charisma, something indefineable, along with peaking at absolutely the right time for the final show of course!

I am so happy - I liked all the three celebs, but I wanted Ore to win and he was the best on the night.
It's nice as well that after the spiteful hammering he's taken the last few weeks for things that had nothing to do with him, that he should come through it victorious - I am so, so happy for him. And for Jo. |

Well danced Ore and Jo thought they brought it to the final and on the night deserved to win but enjoyed all three of them the best I have enjoyed for a while

This final was the best ever for me. Ore deserved his win tonight, he was on top form. All 3 deserved to be in the final, but Ore really surprised me. Well done Ore. At the start of the night I was hoping for Danny to win, but Ore had the edge. All 3 couples were lovely, and it was a joy to watch. Roll on next season.

They really got themselves together in the semis and in the final. Like a true sportsman (I mean I know he isn't but you know what I mean)
Absolutely DELIGHTED here! Though we would've been happy whoever won, we must have voted dozens of times for Ore. January's gin money well spent |

Congratulations Ore and Jo. Extremely pleased with that result. Ore and Jo had a perfect final. I gave them my votes straight after their showdance - pure class and style. The other showdances didn't really do anything for me. So pleased for Jo - she's done some great choreography over the series.

Brilliant result and so happy for Jo as well. I do think though that Danny lost it due to possibly nerves in the first dance. Not like him to do so many mistakes.

I've said many times that you should not overdance, but dance in a controlled way, and this is what Ore did. Just super. |

I have absolutely no problem with that result. Any of three deserved to win and Ore did and deserved it. Loved the show dance, proper classy dance with proper classy dancing. Fir play.
