Following last week's 'outcry' re Claudia being 'ousted' from the Final, how do you think she & AJ would have fared against what we've now seen in the Final?

This was a sub-par final. There was no intensity or excitement and it seemed really obvious that the judges wanted Ore to win. In the end it was Danny that should've won based on tonight's performances and, just like Kellie last year, he lost out.
To answer your original question, yes Claudia and AJ would've totally been able to compete with that and no doubt in my mind their show dance would've stolen the show. No matter what happened in the end, Claudia was still a better dancer than both Ore and Louise.

She could have equalled or exceeded Louise, but not Ore or Danny. Oh well some things are not meant to be.

Yes she would have won. Her showdance probably would have been brilliant. I loved all her dances especially her samba and her halloween dance.

I think Claudia would have had no chance of winning tonight

The other three couples were just better dancers

No, in my opinion.

Plus we would have got a gymnastics-heavy showdance, which I don't tend to enjoy.

Her showdance could have been epic and there were several of her dances I'd have loved to see again, so...yes.

I don't think she'd have won but should definitely have been there instead of Louise.

I don't think she would have had much chance of winning and I say that as a big fan. Her showdance would have been amazing but I think it was set up for ore to win.

That sums it up for me too. I said after Claudia went out that I wouldn't watch the final and I really wish I hadn't now. I supported Danny and thought he deserved it.

She would've done an amazing show dance!

Felt Danny's was alittle dance school tame... no real fire or spirit... wish they'd got Adele for the track too, singer was just an embarrassment

I felt the final was lacking tonight compared to other years, would actually have loved to have seen Claudia there tonight, she would have added the 'wow' (for me anyway). I think any of her Salsa/Charleston/AT could have rivalled Ore or Danny's dances tonight! She probably should have been there instead of Louise....no offence to her as I like her.
Would she have won?? possibly not, seemed heavily biased towards Ore tonight by the judges but hey ho, she wasn't and she didn't!!

No great actors and really dull, dancing through a list of dances, dancing. Oti was the only one producing anything remotely exciting

If they took Ore and his journey story, and over marking, out, it would have been open for anyone more spectacular, anyone more charismatic than Louise, or a better choregrapher than Kevin to win. There were far stronger journey stories there if they had been developed, and some other players had been saved from the dance offs. Danny seems to have suffered from the over trained pro issue , so it may have just been a matter of removing Ore and putting someone else iin.

Claudia had dances as good as anythig Ore had, and as she showed in a few seconds tonight could have done a vastly more exciting, vote stealing, show dance. Louis had worse footwork, and made it with a few gymnastics tricks.

I agree. When I watched Claudia's dances tonight, I realised how good and entertaining she actually was. Ore was just a showman in my opinion and it was definitely manipulated for him to win.

However the recent winners are who appeals to 11-14 year old girls (they watch the Strictly final as X-Factor has finished the week before)

Claudia is exactly who would appeal to that demographic - and would have walked it.

Which was why she did not make the final.

I think she would have been better than Louise, so yes, she could have competed, and raised the standard.

Louise just felt like someone who was already good, never getting out of third gear.

I would have loved to have seen her show dance. She would have easily matched up to Louise but would have fallen a little short against Danny and Ore.

She did steal the end of the show when all the contestants returned, she did an excellent tumble run, in heels and on a hard floor. And the reason that she may have struggled is because Louise stopped pretending she didn't know how to dance tonight. So pleased that Ore won, that I think Oti is the best dancer and would have liked Danny to win because of Oti.
