I actually think if she made the final she may have won! This year, more than any other, really seemed to come down to performance on the night, as there really wasn't a stand out favourite across the board like there have been other years.
Throw Claudia into the mix, with what would have been a jaw dropping show dance, followed by her tricksy Charleston as her favourite, with the added momentum and public support she'd picked up over the last few weeks, and I really could have seen her coming up the back and winning it! All conjecture of course, as we'll never know, but she's used to competition and like we saw last week with her quickstep, I think she'd have come out fighting, and definitely, at the very least, held her own! |

She did steal the end of the show when all the contestants returned, she did an excellent tumble run, in heels and on a hard floor. And the reason that she may have struggled is because Louise stopped pretending she didn't know how to dance tonight. So pleased that Ore won, that I think Oti is the best dancer and would have liked Danny to win because of Oti.

Following last week's 'outcry' re Claudia being 'ousted' from the Final, how do you think she & AJ would have fared against what we've now seen in the Final?
YES, she would have been able to compete "with all that" if you mean dancing. NO, she would not have been able to compete against the judges who wanted Ore to win. |

If Will Young hadn't dropped out, she probably would have been in the final, and then who knows? Ore really upped his game in the last couple of weeks, however, and there was really very little to choose between the final three on the night. I couldn't see her beating that. The other three had one advantage that she could not possibly have yet: age. They are all still young enough to have all the vigour and fitness required, but they are also old enough to be that little bit more savvy. I think she would have come a very creditable fourth - which is exactly what she did, of course.

Yes Claudia and A J could certainly have held their own in the final. Especially against Louise who was the weakest of the 3 last night. I expect their show dance would have been fab-u-lous, add that to the Lion King dance plus possibly the AT and they might have won.

She probably could have beaten Louise and her showdance would have been spectacular.
However, imo, looking at her jiving in the group dance I still would say she was very lucky to be kept in over Greg that week. |

The showdance would've been a lift fest and whilst clever I don't think people would have loved it like they clearly did Ore's (which was an amazing performance as well as dance).

Yes, she could have absolutely held her own. She was starting to peak just at the right time. I think she could have won too. How her fabulous quickstep didn't receive 40 I will never know.

I don't think she'd have won but should definitely have been there instead of Louise.

I think she went out at the right time having delivered her best dance.

I don't think she would have had much chance of winning and I say that as a big fan. Her showdance would have been amazing but I think it was set up for ore to win.

IMO her getting 40 did not suit the agenda of the Producers.
As it is, I half watched last night, not caring a jot who won. It was nice to not be nervous watching a final for once. Was very surprised Danny didn't win, I thought he had the public vote sewn up going off sites such as this and comments on newspapers. Personally, although Oti seems lovely, I find some of her choreography a bit too frenetic. I felt that way about their showdance and *heresy alert* I don't like their samba for the same reason, all the flailing arms get on my wick as the newly departed Len would say. Louise seems a sweet lady but her dances failed to rouse me to vote, same with Ore. I found all the jumping on the drums in the showdance irritating too. |

I thought Ore and Danny performed very well in the final, bar Danny's mistake in the QS. I thought Louise was a complete bore fest though tbh. I was a little baffled at the judges getting her to do the cha-cha again and then there was her very underwhelming show dance. I would much rather have had Claudia there, who had an amazing back catalogue of dances to choose from, not to mention her show dance which would have been something else.
So in answer to the question, not only do I think she could have easily competed with the boys in the final, I also think she would have had a shot at winning. I never felt Louise was in the running last night. |

Quite easily could have won it. Lousie was particularly bad and in my opinion should not have been in the final

I think she would have easily bettered Louise's efforts in the final. She had several routines that were already of a very high standard and probably had the ability to improve on and her show dance would have more excitement than Louise's.

It really would have been a treat to see her dancing instead of presenting but first night nerves would have affected her performance what with it be the final and all.

Absolutely. Her showdance would have been amazing and her Charleston was one of the standout dances of the series

I think she could have easily won but I personally couldn't warm to her. I found her quite stompy in her dances. There was a lack of connection between her and AJ. Their dances were very good but left me feeling nothing. I also didn't like how she reacted when Len (I think) called her up on an obvious mistake one time (she denied it) and I didn't like her reaction to leaving over Danny! She seemed very bitter. It showed poor sportsmanship! Must have forgot that Greg was booted over her (who did FAR better on that night). I understand that she was disappointed but it can be handled better. Although she is a better dancer than Louise I do warm to Louise more personality wise. I am very happy with the final 3
I like all of them.
