Two doors down
I have recently got into this show, I think it's really funny and should be bigger. Anyone know if there will be a third series?

I hope so. I'm really enjoying the current series, it's extremely well-written and a nice, lighthearted show to watch. It's a shame there aren't more like it. Elaine C Smith steals the show for me as Christine, brilliant character there, though the whole cast is very impressive, especially Arabella Weir and Doon MacKichan.

Are people really that downtrodden like Arabella's character? |

I love it. I only discovered it when BBC Two aired the Christmas episode last year, which itself was a repeat I think. Elaine C Smith is the star of the show as Christine.

I watch it but think it's quite uneven and that the episodes are of variable quality but I keep watching in the hope that it will improve.
![]() There are two episodes on tomorrow btw to complete the second series.

Really like it but don't think that the two gay guys bring anything to the table, they're not funny at all.

Love this series, I think it's hysterical. Elaine C Smith gets the best lines. The bit where she announced she had been to buy her daughter a bra and there was 'a hell of a weight in there' had me in fits.
The son and his boyfriend are the weak link for me, although when he was gagging on the whisky was very funny. |

i like Elaine C Smiths character Christine the best, the way she delivers her lines and the way her daughter is always giving her the sideeye,i wish they would tone down cathy a bit though she is way over the top.

I caught the last ten minutes of the first episode of this series and thought it was really good, so watched all the episodes since and have found each one really funny.I loved poor Colin's dad hating his birthday party last week and being forced to play the accordion.

Good news it's been recomisioned for a third series of 6 episodes!
http://www.bbc.co.uk/mediacentre/lat...name=corporate I like how they have lots of behind the scene clips on their iPlayer page it just shows how much fun they have making it. I hope that they'll be showing series two's bloopers it's great to see Elaine C Smith cracking up with the lines she has to say! |

'who do you think you are, the hungry ****ing caterpillar?'
Och aye, Theres no joke that can't be made better by including an expletive as an adjective - or so it seems to some comedy writers |

I absolutely love it but it's just a shame there is so much swearing in it.

I love it too. I had never seen the original from 2013 and looked everywhere and ended up getting it on YouTube for £1.49. It was brilliant (even without the excellent Christine it) I was surprised they had another son - in the army, that they never mention. I wish Daniella Nardini would show up in series 3 along with the Norwegian neighbours Henning and Nina.
