Which was Kevin's best chance of winning Strictly?

He is a 4 for 4 time 'veteren' finalist.

He must also like wedding cake because he always ends up 'the bridesmaid'!!!

But which was Kevin's best Final, his best chance of winning?

Susanna & Kevin
Frankie & Kevin
Kellie & Kevin
Louise & Kevin

I would have said Louise, but I think he ballsed it up a bit with their showdance - it just didn't suit her. Judges Choice was crap for them, too.

Frankie or Susanna probably. It's become increasingly likely since then that his chances of winning are receding every year.

I thought it suited her perfectly and was the most emotive of all the showdances. She was his best bet so far as she had the likeability factor.

I would have said Louise but I think they were unlucky to get the chacha as their first dance and the showdance, whilst danced beautifully, didn't work for me. Ore and Jo had this in the bag as soon as they did their AS imo.

Probably Frankie for me, but Flackers was on fire in that final.

Frankie - I think if they could have done their tango in the final they would have won.

Louise I think

Show dance was beautiful to me, but these things are very individual - the Cha Cha was their kiss of death... knew before hand but she just couldn't work the hip action... although her confidence was beaming and that was nice to see!

Kellie's performance confidence coupled with Louise's technique and likeability.

Susanna Reid - he had the element of surprise as we weren't jaded by his choreographical quirks and I never understood how Clancy won (charming though Alijaz is).

I thought he was going to win with Frankie heading into the finale, but then Caroline blown the competition away with her showdance and it was game over

It's so satisfying watching him lose.

They were sabotaged by production and Kevin and Louse knew it this week on ITT. I suspect they have been topping the vote each week. For them to win would have set off the racist claims at full belt. I'm not saying they deserved to win but they were pulling in public vote all series.

Last week cr.p music / awful styling. Still managed to pull in vote. So operation hatchet by being given Cha Cha Cha for god sake how much more obvious could they make it. Music for show dance dictated style of dance. Their heart wasn't in for the win tonight because they knew the shenanigans.

I wasn't a great fan of Danny but he was the best dancer. Oti the best pro in final. Ore win just seems so contrived and manipulated.

They wanted Louise or Claudia out last week.

Frankie was probably the best dancer he's had who was also well known to a large proportion of the viewing public (especially those who watch after the X Factor is finished).

I had thought he'd win with Louise this year, but she just wasn't in the contest tonight, she just didn't seem to be letting go and giving it everything, unlike the other two.

I'm likely to agree but there's something beautiful about Louise's control when dancing... if she 'let go' it might look ungainly and messy... no one wants that!

Her footwork has always been fantastic and a joy to watch... she didn't hide under ruffles or flowing dresses, her feet were always on show!

In descending order of likelihood:

Frankie - only narrowly came down to dancing on the night, I suspect Caroline's margin of victory was pretty thin
Susanna - Marmite, but probably would've won if the quality of her dancing hadn't fallen off a cliff after Blackpool
Louise - Kevin had become horrendously overexposed this year, but he could've just made it over the finish line
Kellie - way too Marmite, if not outright unpopular in some quarters, and he was already overexposed by this point

I think Frankie, she was a great dancer and I wish she had won. I agree Caroline won with her showdance. She and Pasha went for something different and it paid off but I'd say Frankie was better overall. Frankie was also really likeable which helps. Kellie also did a brilliant showdance and had a great final but she was annoying as a person, Frankie was lovely. I think the only thing Frankie did 'wrong' was not doing Caroline's showdance.

Susanna's year was probably very close too, the best dancer was unlikely to win as she wasn't that likeable and all 4 of them brought something different but good but Susanna was struggling the last couple of weeks. She didn't have Natalie's ability or Abbey's story.
