Now that Tess is set to quit SCD (allegedly) who do we think should replace her....In the past I felt it should be a Scottish person but does anyone else any ideas?

I doubt she'd give this gig up unless pushed. She's an awful presenter.

She won't quit. She should be pushed though.

Well I have been told that (again this is not official yet) but that Kelly Brook is in line to replace Claudia back stage and Claudia will move to front of house

I like Kelly and think she is a great presenter but not sure if she is suited to the backstage role or not?

Thought?

Two questions:

1) Who "alleges" this?
2) Any particular reason why the "next" presenter should be Scottish?

A Scottish person? What the hell does someone's nationality have to do with it?

I'm surprised you haven't nominated Lulu for the role - but what would happen on Bonfire night when no-one is able to watch the show or vote because they are all stranded in some remote Scottish location without a phone signal?

1.It was on twitter today buy a boy I follow from Pollock

2.The vibe in Scotland is that we have never had a Scottish presenter on SCD before and it should be our turn. I guess a bit like the World Cup where they are rotated every year .

Lulu was considered allegedly but she is to busy with her pop career at them moment and would not be able to commit for a whole series.. I suspect if asked she could guest present now and again

I fully expect Claudia and Tess to be in the same roles next series. And I'd be disappointed if they weren't.

As for the Kelly Brook suggestion, I've never seen anything from her to suggest she would be up to the job, and don't believe the BBC would take the risk. If Claudia did move to main presenter, surely Zoe Ball would be first in line for the current Claudia role.

Mind you, I didn't think Trump would become POTUS.

Lulu is too busy with her pop career?
Have I been transported back to the 1960's or something as the only career Lulu has nowadays is flogging skin cream on QVC.
And what do you mean it shoudl be your turn? I am all for being patriotic, but someone's nationality should have naff all to do with getting a job. Sounds like racial profiling to me.

The boy from Pollock also claims that Zoë's time may be up too on IT2..Seemigly she wants to spend more time at home...Be a shame as she is a good presenter and she has nice legs too

Ok but you got to agree it a little unfair that all the hosts so far have been English?

Kelly is fluffy & fake, Claudia's wacky persona is better suited to the backstage area.
as a front of house presenter her quirkiness will either be supressed or become an irritant. The job of Tess replacement is Zoe's to turn down surely?

Really? I leave the forum for 2 seconds and this happens, lol! We have never had a Scottish presenter and nor do we need one. I'm from Scotland and hearing Iain Skelton on ITT the other day was cringe... too broad an accent for some. Others in certain parts of the land might not understand, like someone from Aberdeen for example with a broad scots accent

And I hope not! Tess is wooden, but she is good wooden and plays the straight man to Claudia's clown perfectly

Unless they are re-jigging the whole show, I see no point in changing the presenters... and I have zero clue who'd pick up where she left off... Fiona Philips... maybe?

*ducks n runs!*

What about Judy Murray ...She is perhaps Scotland's most famous SCD contestant ever with Carol Smillie in the background....Kirsty Gallagher on IT2

Also be good If the Murray brother s could come when tennis permits to help out as well...Maybe to some dances from a tennis point of view

Sounds like tabloid newspaper or Twitter (often the same) ramblings.
