Keep Claudia in her current role, bring a genuinely good presenter in like Graham Norton who would embrace the camp of it and has shown he can be good when he hosted the Joseph/Maria shows. He even managed to take over from Terry Wogan at Eurovision and made it way better.
Alternatively, I would love to see John Barrowman or Paul O'Grady - both of whom would take the piss out of it a bit, which is what Strictly needs sometimes. It's why Claudia works so well - she knows it's cheesetastic and a big joke, and she takes the mick out of things. Did Graham Norton make the Eurovision Song Contest better, I stopped watching when he took over. He is a pale imitation of Wogan without the wit. |

Now that Tess is set to quit SCD (allegedly) who do we think should replace her....In the past I felt it should be a Scottish person but does anyone else any ideas?

Kelly is fluffy & fake, Claudia's wacky persona is better suited to the backstage area.
as a front of house presenter her quirkiness will either be supressed or become an irritant. The job of Tess replacement is Zoe's to turn down surely? |

2.The vibe in Scotland is that we have never had a Scottish presenter on SCD before and it should be our turn. I guess a bit like the World Cup where they are rotated every year . |

Ronnie Corbett presented Strictly when Bruce was unwell, so there has been at least half a Scottish presenter

Lulu is too busy with her pop career?
Have I been transported back to the 1960's or something as the only career Lulu has nowadays is flogging skin cream on QVC. And what do you mean it shoudl be your turn? I am all for being patriotic, but someone's nationality should have naff all to do with getting a job. Sounds like racial profiling to me. |

I was in a taxi and the driver said He heard someone discuss that they heard from their milkman, who heard from someone on his round, that Tess was going to quit, but he also said, someone said Elvis was alive and working in a McDonalds in Cleethorpes.
If you Google Tess, there is no substance to this rumour whatsoever, but it still gets accepted by a few as the truth and a thread started who will replace her. She isn't going anywhere. Keep calm and move on..... |

Lulu was considered allegedly but she is to busy with her pop career at them moment and would not be able to commit for a whole series.. I suspect if asked she could guest present now and again

Nicola Sturgeon could present.....lives in a dream world of pseudo reality already, which Strictly is all about, so she would be very familiar with the fantasy world , which is where she would like to take Scotland.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I think she should realize that Spain will block any of her attempts to do any deals. How about Matt Baker with Claudia? Or perhaps Caroline Flack? |

Ok but you got to agree it a little unfair that all the hosts so far have been English?

Well I have been told that (again this is not official yet) but that Kelly Brook is in line to replace Claudia back stage and Claudia will move to front of house
![]() I like Kelly and think she is a great presenter but not sure if she is suited to the backstage role or not? Thought? |
