I'd like to know how the BBC can manipulate a public vote?
In other words quite a few ways.

i think we're talking about the chris Hollins/ola Jordan axis here but at the end of the day it is the public who decides

No, that's your opinion, nothing more. You'll see from the thread ranking the winners that plenty of people have entirely different opinions to you, funnily enough.
Of course Oar was surveyed along with the other 4 that were still in at the time |

Darren a better winner than Mark? Now I KNOW you're trolling.
There were also better than Harry imo although you could definitely argue that he's the most successful Strictly winner as he's got the clean sweep of main, tour, Christmas and charity wins. |

In any SCD, we can't choose from previous winners, only those dancing on the night. I would've bet that Danny Mac (given his ability) would've danced best - but he didn't.
Ore and Joanne were best ...not ever..only on the night. I voted for them and had not done so before. |

The reason why Ore won last night wasn't because a BBC bias/fix conspiracy theories, it was because...
Ore was the best dancer on the night & the biggest factor was the 35% of floating viewers who hadn't decided who to vote for before the final. Obviously Ore won the majority of these viewers to win last night

All the Ore bashing threads had no effect in the end. Even after the result people are setting up new ones like this just because their favourite didn't win..

Dance choice order, public vote, judge's comments, what's released to the press, what's focused on on Len's Lens, what's discussed on It Takes Two, what storylines to pursue week on week...
In other words quite a few ways. ![]() I'm sure there are more

Personally, I didn't have a favourite going into last night - but all the Ore-bashing threads only made me more sympathetic towards him, and then his performances last night sealed it, and he got my votes. The level of hysteria from some FMs is extraordinary. It's only a television programme. |

I do wonder if Ore would have made the final if he hadn't been overmarked in the semi but there's no point in speculating.
