I often wonder if the thought/fantasy of such acts (dogging, voyeurism, group sex...ANY fantasy) is BETTER than the real deal.

It doesn't have to be in a car, it can be anywhere really. It's just groups of strangers who go to a known public area to have sex whilst others watch or join in. There's an area a mile from where I live that's a known dogging ground.

Not sure, it's just public sex. My guess is that a randy dog will dry-hump your leg or shag a lady dog in the streets without a care for who may be watching so the name could derive from that.
