Didn't want to start a thread focused on one station or presenter.
Am sure many stations have highlights that even those who don't normally tune in would be interested in.
Starting here with Radio 2.
Wednesday 21st, Nadiyas Festive Family Feast. Cooking shows on the radio. Just don't do it for me. 8pm so Jo Whiley off for the holidays.
Followed by Kenny met the Fab Four at 10pm. Nostalgia trip, with Paul Gambaccini.
Next night re run 8pm Martha Reeves Soul Christmas.
Friday 8pm Friday Night is Music Night. Loved last year, as they linked to Red Button showing the event on screen. I know cutbacks to Red Button, but wish more Friday Nights had a Red Button show.
A shame that having lost Ed Stewart no Juniour Choice. Instead 10am a Radio Special from the West End team who created The Play that goes Wrong.
Lots of documentaries across the week with Radio 2 A Team all off. Sara Cox covers Chris Evans.
Paddy O Connell features 100 best selling asrtists in the Ken Bruce slot.
Craig Charles covers Steve Wrights slot.
Simon Mayo replaced by Johnnie Walker Interviews.
Listening at work, Heart have been plugging a Robbie Williams special. But assume other than that More Music Variety, and does it really matter whose on? Personality, features are not a big thing for Heart.
