Pity the forums were down on Wednesday as May shocking at PMQs.

Her cannon just seems to consist of sneering looks, last line of questionable put downs and saucy innuendos.

My count, I think she has had only 2 or 3 decent PMQs.

Not sure whether Corbs is getting better, or May is getting worse.

I've noticed she doesn't think on her feet very well.

The way to deal with that is preparation, but that seems lacking as well.

PMQs dont win elections, and Corbyn can do what he likes, because he has zero chance of becoming PM.

But, if the public see a constant poor showing at PMQs with such a sneering attitude, that won't go down well.

Probably because Labour (and all other parties, tbh.) are doing so badly in the polls, May seems to have the right to do all that and get away with it everytime.

She really isn't very bright but then neither is Corbyn. PMQ'S exposes the ability of PM to respond under pressure. Folks should take notice as this is how she will behave in negotiations. She can be prepared all you like but if she isn't able to command the full range of subjects it doesn't matter.

What actually happened was that Corbyn didn't faff around asking questions from Billy from Bognor or Mavis from Mablethorpe. He copied Thornberry's method from the previous week, chose a topic and asked six questions on the same topic. Hardly earth shattering but, for Corbyn, a first experience of ditching his daft policy of asking the people's questions and doing his job as Leader of the Opposition and asking his own questions whilst sticking to his pre-written script.

How many people actually watch this panto, and make decisions based on it about who to vote for?

Very few indeed.

People invariably vote on the economy or what they think is in it for them.

Around 300,000 watch PMQs but most will be politicos with long standing party loyalties. Many more will see snippets on the News.

Indeed. but its still ultimately pointless - because all he does is demand more and more spending. And, as he does that, he's just ratchetting up bills that already exceed the 500 billion he's proposing o print . He's now added ending student loans, increasing social care, and no NHS cuts to his list of impossible spending. Unless Labour junk him, and develop an economic plan that doesn't rely on magic money trees,and then overspends what ever figure it last came up with , Labour can't go anywhere.

Equally , he's not getting anywhere on the EU issue , because Labour is totally divided on what it wants, and he's at odds with his own voters on immigration.

He doesn't get filletted as often at PMQs , because May isn't as smart as Cameron, and he's learnt to ask on one subject, but he's still looking hopeless.

He's not really copying Emily Thornberry's method considering he has chosen a topic and asked six questions on it quite a few times of late. It's been a while since he asked people's questions.

I think Corbs has improved massively at the PMQ's while at the same time May is getting worse and worse.

Mrs May is floundering in a morass of uncertainty and indecision of her own making. You cannot fool the people all of the time, and her time is running out fast.

Well if you call 3 years fast so be it, and, unless something drastic happens within the Tory Party then she could be elected for another 5 years ......

It's easier to ask questions than answer them.

He should be more adept than May, he's been doing it for longer.

May is always well briefed and stands her ground. That's her job.

Her time has only just started. She is going to steer us out of the EU and win the next GE.

What? well as excuses go that's a new one, probably the best excuse of the thread so far.

I have noticed that the crowing fest of the opinion polls thread has dropped off the front page, always a sign that things may have changed, and a quick search reveals that the current Opinium poll of voting intentions has the Tories on 38% and Labour on 31%
A significant closing of the 17% gap which had some Tory supporting posters having a jolly time,
I have never had much regard for polls something which has proven quite sensible over the past 18 months or so.
However I fully expect, many of those who take them as the gospel when Labour are doing badly will now come forward with all sorts of excuses as to why we suddenly should not believe polls

I suggest you carry on ignoring them. The poll of polls has labour at its lowest for over 5 years.
