Favourite Xmas movies?
What's everyone's fave Xmas movie?
A lot of people cite Its A Wonderful Life but that isn't a Christmas movie to me. I love National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation and of course Home Alone 1 and 2. Get Santa is quite funny in terms of newer movies. The first Nativity movie is also classic but the two sequels were naff. |

The National Lampoon's is really funny and it doesn't feel like an old movie either.

I loath it's a wonderful life with such a passion. Possibly the most overrated film, ever.

I love Disney's One Magic Christmas. It's very much an update of It's a Wonderful Life, and very underrated - Mary Steenburgen is phenomenal in it, because my god her character gets put through some heavy stuff!!

Wonderful life all day long, though mainly for the last 45 minutes; the early parts of the film can drag a bit. And any version of a Christmas Carol.

Not quite a Christmas movie, but they had "the bishops wife" on tv the other day. Never saw it before, but I thought it was easily on a par with miracle on 34th street. Very good performance from Cary Grant.
