Did you try counting the managers? That would make for an easy approximation. and wouldn't even need you to expend any effort on the sneering condescension.”

McD is an open door for anyone. I'm as thick as frozen custard yet just over 40 years ago, I was offered the job as manager of their second restaurant in the UK. Just goes to show.

I think they are fantastic jobs for students and the like as they take the first steps into work. I know dozens of people who did just this or used it as a stop gap between other jobs. Yes some people become managers but the vast majority do not and move on to better paid jobs / careers.

Oh and to answer my own question the Government would get no direct taxation income from anyone working 16 hours a week at £7.20 an hour. Not even Employers National Insurance.

This may be here or in other countries, and if they leave others (already here or attracted by opportunities) will replace them .It's always been the way.

You're wrong. Across the broad spectrum of our lives it is possible and quite likely that Brexit will affect most people and most sectors, almost certainly negatively. Brexit supporters dived into that pool of uncertainty with their eyes closed because they were told to by powerful influences peddling lies, so they must get used to wiser heads challenging their utter foolishness.

How many McDonalds part-time jobs (let's say 16 hours per week) would it take to replace the govenment tax take from one bank job on (say) £100,000 per annum?”

You have a strange idea of what the jobs at their international corporate HQ in London will be like and what effect moving their non USA tax base to the UK will have.

Also as said before McDonald's is only one of many businesses that have announced large investments in the UK since the referendum.

The usual, pompous "We Remainers Are More Cleverer than Yous" nonsense.
Seriously, this insult-chucking has no traction. You can declare all you like that you have a "wiser head" than mine, but it's all in your head - obviously there's adequate empty storage space for hyperbole.

I think it's that a lot of people not usually worth their notice had the temerity to have minds of their own instead of heeding their 'better educated' brethren and forgot their place enough to vote differently from them.

No doubt we will get more of:

"lalala I'm not listening"

or

"you lost get over it"

or

"but we haven't left the EU yet"

from the Brexiteers as they try and deny the reality of what is happening.”

...or more pretending that the Brexit vote isn't having a direct and adverse effect...

....or more plain old lying and outright BS...

...or more direct quoting from the David Icke forums and blogs.

Could you name just 2 dozen, or perhaps make up 2 dozen names? With your attitude I would be surprised if you really know 2 dozen people.

So there's no economic carnage in the Eurozone? You're utterly deluded.

For what? What is the EU offering that we need to beg and plead for? Nothing whatsoever.

When you resort to personal abuse, as you just have, instead of any rational argument, it means that you have lost.

It wasn't abuse. You said that we are going to suffer economic carnage through not being in the EU. Which is patently not true. I pointed out that it's the Eurozone which is suffering economic carnage. Especially Southern Europe. You've yet again not even addressed it. Probably because there's not a thing you can say back seeing as it's correct.

"You're utterly deluded" is direct personal abuse and all it does is reflect badly upon your character and judgement when you do that.

You are deluded if you think that the EU isn't the source of economic carnage. It is the worlds only declining trading block you know.

The facts about the risks of Brexit are obvious to anybody who cares to understand them.
