Powering FM transmitter from USB-C power pack?
Just wondered if this was possible by attaching the power wires from a USB-C lead to a car type 12V aux socket and plugging the FM transmitter into that? Are the electronics in a USB-C power pack able to deal with this type of set up or does it really need a USB-C capable device at the other end of the power cable?
(the USB-C power pack I have seen on Amazon specifically mentions supporting 12V / 1.5A output over USB-C |

Not sure exactly what you are trying to setup, but I use a rechargeable FM transmitter that can have a standard USB charger plugged in to keep it powered up 24/7, something like this: http://amzn.eu/ds8Caio

I gave up on cheap FM transmitters years ago as they soon fall to bits the amount of use I give them. I have a pricier Satechi device that is not only more solidly built but is powerful enough to suppress interference from FM stations on nearby frequencies which the cheap ones do not. But ... the problem is the work vans we use do not power the aux socket when parked up so was wanting a light portable solution to use in that scenario.
