the best chit chat - LBC, BBC WS or Radio 4
Which station has the best chat out of the 3 in the title?

IMO the OP has mentioned the 3 outstanding Radio Stations of the 21st Century.
But as has been said.....for very different reasons. Two recent episodes of Desert Island Discs (Emma Bridgewater and Davina McCall) were astonishing (seriously......check them out) and reminded me that Radio 4 produce outstanding work. (And that Kirsty Young is magnificent and seriously under-rated). |

Can't pick just one
Breakfast is a witch between Radio 4, 5 and LBC 10/1 depends on the day. Weds is great on 5live, bit of Julia Hartley Brewer and talkSPORT World at one, then H and J. Bit of 5live drive, then radio 4 to 6.30, |

I'd agree with the other posters, they all do different things but generally do them very well. But I'd also suggest RTE Radio 1 ought to be in there. Again, it's a different station, but generally a very good listen.

I do think think LBC can ever be described as 'chit-chat' these days.
Daily Mail hate spouting nonsense, maybe. |
