Funky Pigeon and Moonpig dont tell you anything about what they do from their name, so that criticism for the name for me is a moot point.

All that matters is how they can justify in their presentation showing the business is "scalable"

Everything else is moot (design, brand name, etc)

Mauve cod doesn't seem to have anything to sell which anyone with any sense would buy.

They are setting up a clash of presenters nerves - who is going to win that? Which is the red herring ?
