Homemade cakes by Alana*

* outsourced to some other company
Because Mr Kipling cooks up all his cakes in his own little kitchen and doesn't have massive industrial operations/outsourced production anywhere..

I could see Alana being in with a chance here.

I'd take her cakes over his novelty baby cups.

But Mr Kipling is a cheap brand that doesn't paint itself as a homemade, artisan baker selling brownies for £3 each.

If they pitched these ideas, products and brands in week 3 the retailers would laugh, but since it's the final it's all "hmm, good idea".

Little gifts, big impressions, that's good from Courtney! £5 to £15 mark mark. He sounds more confident than he had done on the main shows.

That 2 handed beaker is a good idea, and could be used for adults who have difficulty holding cups. I was looking for such a beaker and couldn't find one!

If production is in Wales how do you get your product to anywhere but Wales, and perhaps the likes of Bristol and Birmingham?

So he doesn't actually want to run the business, he just wants to remain designing.

Yes, but there are small speciality brands of desserts/ cakes that sell at a high price in supermarkets
