Yay Alana! I did think he was going to go with Courtney for a moment mentioning how he'd lost money when he didn't stick to what he knew.

You might buy the odd toy from Courtney once in a blue moon but you could buy a cake from Alana every day.

If it was purely about the tasks as it used to be then Alana is a deserving winner, if it comes down to the business idea they both looked weak, but that's the problem with the show and it hasn't really made much sense for a while.

He should have proposed a Matthew Horne lookalike business , he would have won

She has been nice. Also has a lot of commonsense and has been under-estimated by the others

She now obviously spends less sthan her full time cooking. She can match the other winner's profits, on 6 times the sales . She needs 3 chefs to cover cooking that - if she spends half her time now cooking - thats not allowing for economies of scale. And she can pay a chef less than she pays herself.

But that might have to be based in Wales part of the time.

You don't have to speak perfectly without stumbling in a pitch. It can come across as robotic if you're too perfect.

In the, post brexit, everlasting, recession, an expensive cake is still more likely to sell than useless tat.

Really pleased Sugar didn't go for the tried and tested, man after my own heart option a la Mark Wright, but went outside the box for once.

Really pleased for Alana, am confident she'll make it work.
