Just wondering if those winners shots were still faked.

According to the programme's website, yes.

Two endings are filmed in order to ensure that the winner is not revealed in advance. Lord Sugar does not tell the production team and the finalists about the identity of his new business partner until the day before the transmission of the final programme.

Interesting. I wonder how they make them look as authentic as they do.

I wonder if tapes still exist in the archives somewhere of Lord Sugar telling the likes of Ruth Badger, Kate Walsh and Chris Bates that "you're hired" and then explaining his reasons for picking them as The Apprentice, which probably totally contradicted why he ultimately chose the other candidate!

Perhaps next year Lord Sugar should either follow both finalists on Twitter, or neither of them?

I struggle to believe they film two boardroom scenes with Alan telling first one and then the other that they are hired. Why would they bother? The only people there are him, the candidates and the production team/camera crew. What is to be gained from it? Also seems unnecessarily cruel to the losing candidate.

However I think it is far more likely that they are both filmed walking out to the car smiling victoriously - we already know those bits are pre-filmed anyway for the fired candidates. Anyone could be lurking outside watching so that would make sense.

They apparently did always film this, then they both went to work for him for 6 months off camera while he decided who won. Before it was an "investment"
