Is everyone ready for Christmas. Or are you still runming around trying to get everything ready for when the relatives arrive

By the time you posted it, it was very nearly a week to the end of Christmas.

Do you think there'll still be delivery slots available for the 23rd?

I ordered our online Xmas food shopping from Sainsbury's last week and all slots from 22nd till Xmas had been taken already. We're getting ours delivered on 21st.
I've only got Monday & Tuesday at work then I'm off.
Wednesday, Thursday & Friday are booked off as leave.
Food shopping is arriving Wednesday during the day.
Thursday I have to drive up to family 60 miles away to pick up presents. Thursday evening, my sister and kids are all arriving ready to spend Xmas with us.
I also get paid Thursday so will be out early Friday morning to get the remaining Xmas presents I've not yet got.
Will also drive round and see a few friends later in the day.

From Xmas Eve onwards I'll pretty much stay at home.
Not back at work till the 4th January so should be a good couple of weeks off!

Buying cards on Monday. Travel up to visit family on Christmas Eve. My sister is very bossy and I'm very laid back, which means she gets to organise things (which she loves more than presents) and I get to do very little apart from helping the younger family members open their presents on the day. My sister did try and help her kids open presents one year, but she just ended up getting all stressed out at how poorly they were opening them .

If you get 23rd delivery date you are incredibly lucky! My morrisons food shop for 24th has been booked since mid November. My sister who uses Tesco waited till midnight on the night the xmas slots were available and still couldnt get 23rd or 24th as both were full and had to settle for 22nd.

I'm not really celebrating Christmas this year. I am a long way from home and family, as such I have no reason to celebrate in the traditional sense.
