Literally haven't bought a single present yet. Thank God for Amazon Prime...

Never felt this unfestive and nonplussed by the whole thing, ever. Looking forward to it though, basically for the two weeks off work.

I had my Tesco shopping on 1st Dec and the delivery driver told me that all the Christmas slots were already full.

Only thing left really is to get two cards.

We are also a long way from family & UK friends.
Will still be celebrating the birth of Christ.
Christmas lunch will be with our friends here on Rhodes.

Mad dash tomorrow for whatever presents I can afford. Probably shouldn't have chose this time of year to pay for a holiday.

Imagine the outrage if retail shop floor works went on strike for the next two weeks (especially this one) as well.

Bloody hell!!
What's the rush?
Surely supermarket chains won't suddenly go bust overnight if they brought them in closer to the time?

I am all ready now. All the presents are wrapped and the stockings are stuffed. I went to Tesco over the weekend and bought my cheese, booze, crackers etc ... I just need to pop into the greengrocer on Thursday to get some sprouts and I'm good to go.

Waiting on three presents to be delivered (I hope they arrive in time).
Nipping out in a minute to grab my niece one last thing.

Haircut tomorrow so I look somewhat presentable when visiting family, and I've still got to do the (dreaded) food shop so I can pig out throughout my 11 days off work

Still need to wrap presents and send out the cards, though... Everything is always 'tomorrow' with me, but I'm getting there

I am giving it another two days before I start buying presents

It does seem an age since the John Lewis advert was first shown, though I believe it's fine to start Xmas festivities after the start of the Nov 11th (Nov 11) by now it seems a really long time away

Kind of getting a bid fed up of the Mince Pies and have 3 Stiollen Loaves left to consume

I think we're all set, tracking the last few parcel deliveries which should arrive on Wednesday.

This time next week it'll all be over, and we'll have some footie on the box.

Just need to put the icing on the Christmas cake and give a card to the postman. Once that is done everything is ready for Christmas.

I've been busy studying and everything so haven't had a chance to go Christmas shopping yet. Hopefully I'll go later in the week.

All done now, unless I have a few more impulsive buys for my daughter.

You've left it a bit late, In my opinion. Mine went on at the end of November.

I hope that your Christmas doesn't end up being totally ruined by your
gross error on the sprout-cooking front.
