Oh come on. Frances took great delight in winding up a walking ego. That doesn't make her "very unpleasant". Some people need to get real. It is a show about running businesses, not about living together and all getting along.
And ultimately Frances was right. Rebecca's headstrong views were derailing Alana and only Oliver's intervention (possibly instigated by Grainne and Frances' warning) saved the day. Rebecca was a typical marketing person. Read a lot of textbooks and has very strong opinions but often can't understand how to translate things into reality. She was quite rude and deserved the ribbing she received. |

Jesus, calm down. I'm 'real' enough thanks. Rebecca at no point in that episode was rude. Frances on the other hand has been pretty consistent for the last month.
One might reflect on the thoughts of the winner when asked who had been most supportive to her throughout the entire process she picked out Frances and Grainne as the two who'd helped her during the early weeks when she wanted to quit. Frances to me seemed a nice person who knew how to occasionally push the buttons of those who were overbearing or demonstrative in the process. She wasn't "sly" as people seem to make out. She merely fought her corner without shouting or being overly unpleasant. Just made sure people knew she was switched on. Just like the comments aimed at Rebecca. Rebecca had a habit of demanding she was right and actually being wrong. It is always fun pointing that out to those sorts of people. |
