I think it very likely that both Neil and Chloe will get celeb partners next year, given how active the pair of them have been on It Takes Two. Joanne was in a similar situation last year.
It's generally thought that Jo was supposed to get a celeb last year but one of the male celebs dropped out late in the day so they had to get one female pro to sit out and offered Jo all the ITT work as compensation.

Slightly different for Neil and Chloe as they were hired with no intention of ever giving them celeb partners (presumably as they both came as a package with their professional partners, who producers wanted (or in AJ's case needed height and age-wise) for the show).

You think? They are both much nicer than the self seeking Jordans.

Neil will probably revert to being back up choreographer and 'spare on Strictly 2017 as he has done for years.
Katya knows that she is only there for maternity cover till Kristina comes back - that came from Katya herself!!

Despite what everyone on here spouts NO PRO HAS BEEN GIVEN A 2 YEAR CONTRACT. It's therefore almost certain that AJ and Chloe won't be back as they are going back to competing.

Despite what you say, Natalie's two year contract was confirmed to be true by Ian.

And I'd say "almost certain" is 50/50 - unless you happen to have some sort of special insight into Chloe & AJ's minds that the rest of us don't?

That seems unlikely - do you have a link for that or anything?

It's just that Kristina claimed on CBB that she found out she was pregnant "over Christmas" when her mother was visiting, so presumably the week after Strictly ended.

I know Kristina didn't officially announce her departure until January this year, but she did say she was "unhappy towards the end" and had made up her mind to leave before she announced her pregnancy. From a quick google, it looks like she told Hello magazine that she almost quit in 2014, and signed her contract 2 weeks later than the other pros. She said she felt the creativity was being taken out of her hands.

Also, the eliminated contestants dance last year hinted at the departures of Ola and Kristina (with their partners crying over pictures of them). We knew Ola was leaving because of all the stuff that happened with her, but they were treated the same in that dance.

If Kristina was on maternity leave, would she have made those negative comments? Would she have done CBB? Wouldn't she just have said she was taking a break? It just seems very odd to me.

Edited to add: even if what you say is true, I simply can't imagine the producers not wanting to keep hold of Katya after she had such a brilliant reception!

Isn't there one of the Floor Managers (or whatever they call them) who looks slightly similar?
There is and, forgive me, but every time I see him I just feel like punching him - he comes across as so annoying and full of himself - quite a feat as he is only ever shown for no more than five or so seconds at a time!

Maybe Katya "carried" him?
Hopefully more proficiently than Ed carried her!!!

There's no indication that Kristina will be returning to the show. As has been said, Neil has been involved behind the scenes for a little while and will very likely get a partner next year (as will Katya considering her popularity this year).

I don't feel the same way about him, but I absolutely know what you mean. I feel that way about a few background people in other TV shows and movies!

Not a couple romantically, but AJ & Chloe have danced together for a while now as an amateur partnership, and turned professional together specifically to do Strictly. I would assume they have ambitions to compete professionally together at least in the near future...
Well who knows what 2017 will bring for AJ and chioe.

He looks like a chipmunk
We can "bash" gingers on here, but not Cliftons then?

I liked Neil. That ITT with him and Katya was hilarious.

He is bloody annoying, hogs the camera at every opportunity. Not keen on him at all.
I agree.

He may be a champion dancer, but that doesn't mean he can't be an irritating little twerp.
I really hope he doesn't become a "full time" pro dancer next series.

As a fan of Neil's for many years - at least 16 anyway - I too hope that he a Katya don't become full time pro dancers next year.

WHY? Because I'd much rather see them back dancing properly instead of dancing down with beginners. They're really too good, and have too much to give competitively.

It came from a conversation with Katya.
The Beeb won't want to lose Natalie and she is such a long standing pro that an exception may well have been made, I didn't hear it said.
