A mash-up, montage; the good, the bad, the ugly; Trump, Honey G and Pikachu.

2016 was a big year and so much has happened it's hard to remember exactly what went on.

This Is 2016

I tend to think it was from years prior as opposed to forget. Like wow, that was only 3 months ago!? Thought it was like 3 years!

My 2016 was terrible and I won't be too sorry to see the back of it. Even college was miserable. I couldn't get a PhD supervisor and I've been banned from talking to my favourite lecturer

2016 has been a truly awful year in the wider world, but in our little Cornish bubble down here at the bottom end of the country, we seem to have sailed serenely through it with little or nothing to get over excited about.

Pretty much the same as every other year, actually.

Of course, national and global events will affect us somehow. Brexit will impact terribly on Cornish farmers who will lose EU subsidies and the chances of the British government making good on the UKIP promises to give them a net increase over what they lose from Europe....... well, nobody is holding their breath on that one.

Globally, 2016 can't end fast enough but parochially, life goes serenely on.

Brexit, Trump, and many legends of the entertainment world passed away. The most big name stars passing away of any year of history.

2016 will be remembered in history.

Looks like I may have to re-edit the video after the tragic events yesterday. However maybe it's best that it's left out so this year isn't even more depressing.
