TABLET =Repair or replace.

I have a HP Stream tablet which slipped off a shop counter and the screen wasn't totally screwed but something happened to the SD slot which means a micro SD card goes into the unit itself.

On one hand it might be cheaper to replace but on the other hand, The tablet still works. So should I get it repaired or replace it

Can you not have a go yourself? https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=yo...utf-8&oe=utf-8

See if you can realign the slot (and rescue the card while there)
If you can't realign, you could make the hole bigger with Dremel or Stanley knife?

Precision Bit Set may be useful eg http://www.bonanzamarket.co.uk/listi...6ad_type%3Dpla

I'm not very technically minded and am likely to o it far more harm st
good. I Managed to get the card our but I couldn't trust myself to do the surgery and the screen needs replacing. Otherwise it works fine.
