A shame, was she pushed or jumped?

Not too upset by this one! I liked her at first but the last year or so she's turned into such a nosey, whining, bossy c*w!

The way she speaks to her managers at the bistro makes me cringe! Anyone who speaks to their bosses the way she does would surely get their marching orders!

And I don't buy this "quit" line, reckon she was defo axed.

I wonder if Luke will be next then, with Steph going and him and Maria now split up I cant see much left for him on the show. I assume his relationship with Tracy will be very short lived.

Good news. She's completely an irrelevant character

Which is the producers/writers fault
Lazy decision. So many worse characters/actresses in the show and they cut the one black female

Luke should be axed next.

Yeah I reckon he may be next too. He's another one who seems surplus to requirements.......even at the garage!

4 mechanics working in a garage that never has more than 2 cars being worked on at any one time. Well I say working, I mean they'll be 2 sat on the bonnet of 1 car drinking tea, then infront of them will be the 2nd car with the bonnet opened, but nobody will actually be working on it. Plus you've got Sophie and her clipboard there too, so how on earth does Kevin make any money??

Sorry for ever so slightly going off subject there

Pointless and irrelevant character who is so representative of Corrie today.

Characters turn up with no purpose or focus, yet hang around for at least 3 or 4 years.

Steph could've been a good character, but the writers had no long-term plan for her and she has just floated around in the sidelines since 2013.

Great news, can she take her awful brother too?

Was the only storyline Steph had the one with the actor who played Will in Hollyoaks?

Robert will probably bring Miss Hell in to make up staff numbers. What could possibly go wrong?...........

If she quit, I can't say I blame her. All Steph did was wait tables in the Bistro and even on the rare occasions that she wasn't stuck in there, still her only topic of conversation was the bloody Bistro.

I am disappointed by this. I liked Steph. I thought that she was a believable character.

Black characters have always been sidelined in Corrie

I wonder will she leave with Andy, on her own or will one of them die?

She had so much potential.

That will be Kate Oates' third departure after Michael and Andy.

Not sure about "another" departure! I don't think we've had many, and certainly not enough!

You'd have a point if it wasn't for the additional workshop that Kevin opened not so long ago under the viaduct. Not that we often see it but 4 mechanics and a stroppy, know-it-all clipboard wielder doesn't seem unreasonable.

What isn't realistic is the lack of cars they have waiting around to be fixed/serviced or collected. In most garages you can hardly move for them, certainly when I take my car in, I sometimes have to leave it wherever I can and let them move it somewhere. I'd never have that problem at Kevin's!

Looks like she has quit and I can't blame her. She has been severely underused recently. There was loads of potential for her character but she literally did nothing but wait on tables. Corrie does need to sort out the writing for the younger cast.
