You're last actually, by quite a margin. I mean really, it took you 354 days to say it!

Looking forward to when it's about to turn into 2020. It'll be weird living in the '20s' after talking of them as a long bygone age for so long.

This has blown my mind!

I had never previously thought about 2020 as being the start of the 20's. Although it's pretty obvious it is.

I'm fascinated with the 1920's music. cinema, clothing etc and we will be living our own version of the 20's soon enough.

I doubt people will look back on our 20's as this cool roaring 20's vibe like the 1920's.

There's just over 13 years to go before we're looking back on the next '20s. A lot could happen in that time.

Many people think like this and I'm not alone then. It's a fascinating train of thought. As the 80's and 90's approached they were both seen as futuristic decades yet looking ahead to the impending arrival of the 20's they kind of have the reverse feeling about them and I'm not really sure why that is, that we so strongly associate them with the 1920's of the past, when we didn't associate the 80's and 90's with the 1880's and 1890's from the same retrospective distance at the time. It will be nice to live in a decade with a proper name again though.

We're almost as far from the 60's in either direction, 1960's and 2060's, as it's possible to get. If I make 91 I will have gone from one swinging sixties to the next, 1969 - 2060. That has a good ring about it.

I shall go further and fanfare next August Bank Holiday on August 28th. It will be the birthday for LeAnn Rimes and Shania Twain.

hold on there, there's been a call on another thread to change our calender so you may be further ahead, or behind, of yourself than you realise.
