You know i've seen this peddled on the news of late that any muslim who follows an extreme version of that faith and commits acts of terror because of those believes must be mentally Ill..??? rather than just being simply a religious zealot, i suppose going by that analogy there must be millions of mentally ill people in the middle east then.

Nonsense. The advice from the German police was to stay indoors, and anyone who has information to contact them rather than spreading rumours.

Rubbish! That is NOT what the German police have said. They have asked people to stay at home (to stop clogging the roads and keep the streets free), and to not spread rumours,.

I share your heartbreak. All my family were at The Manchester Christmas Markets yesterday. It was a great day out, so festive and with a great atmosphere. The thought that a similar incident could have happened there is unthinkable.
RIP to those who lost their lives, and wishing a speedy recovery to the injured.

Religious zealotry is a form of mental illness anyway. You could argue that all religious belief is in some way or another.
