What an outrageous thing to say. We don't know who has done this yet, but because you hate Muslims, it must be Islamic extremists.
As for the idiotic rubbish you write about sex offenders, your internet service provider probably enables Muslim and non-muslim paedophiles to groom children online by providing them with the internet. It enables people to wish other people dead online, and other people to read those sentiments, research how to turn them into reality, and buy weapons to kill people with. You fund your internet service provider, so you too are an enabler of sex crimes and murder. That is a wholly factual assumption based on recent history, and will not alter, irrespective of whether you love, hate or are indifferent to muslims. |

BIB - not true. Reading to the end of an article before slagging it off is usually a sensible idea.
Of course they aren't blaming the lorry - how ridiculous. The attack was made using a lorry - hence the term lorry attack in the same way that an attack using firearms is usually called a gun attack - doesn't mean that the gun was not being used by a human. I keep reading about how the BBC bias on here and couldn't see it myself, but now I am starting to, the downplaying of anything that might offend the lefty millennials. Quote:
It'll be interesting to see what the German police say about the identity of the driver (assuming whoever they've got, definitely is the driver)
Also, I wonder how the passenger died. |

Suspected terrorist attack is the most likely and obvious headline. When someone is stabbed do they say a knife stabbed someone.. no.

There seem to be lots of things that ISIS has stated. If I broke wind loudly enough they'd probably claim it was them. The fact is that most terrorists are 'lone wolves' without any real understanding of what they're doing or why. Misguided fools the lot of them, in my opinion. And the only proper organized attacks, like September 11th, were a way of fighting back against the west. It's guerrilla warfare.

Whether you are a 'lone thinker' is irrelevant. I'm still baffled as to why you'd think that what (some) Muslims want is for other Muslims to suffer.
If i was a pedant i would break down your above post and point out ISIS wouldn't claim your fart was them, that "most terrorists" aren't lone wolves (as we've seen in the last 15 - 20 years, or even in the last 5 years) and "the only proper organized attacks" haven't been used as a "way of fighting back against the West" "proper organized attacks" have been taking place all over Africa, The Middle East and the Far East for years and years as I previously stated. In Indonesia for example Islamic terrorist attacks were taking place in the 1980s then a bit of a gap and a resurgence from 2000 onward. Bin Laden was in Sudan for years in the 1980s before relocating to Afghanistan. I agree they are "misguided fools", although i think that is an understatement of colossal proportions. |

Horrible events. And a shooting in Zurich as well. |

None of the above explains your "Bafflement" at someone thinking some Muslims wanting other Muslims to suffer as you stated here:

Last theory I read was the guy left dead in the cab was the Polish driver and his lorry was hijacked by the person who carried out the attack.

Bias or remaining neutral and reporting the news in non-melodramatic, unprejudiced, factual, temperate way?
I think this is a failure to report rather than a lack of bias. |

I'm not trying to deny anything. There isn't even anything to deny as yet. And of course it could be deliberate, and if it was deliberate then it could be terrorism. I'll wait and see.
So is it mental to love thy neighbour, or are we going to gloss over that bit? |

This is long after eye witness reports from British tourists there saying it was deliberate, the Polish company saying the lorry may have been hijacked.
I think this is a failure to report rather than a lack of bias. Proper fact checking is essential in a world where everyone is online outlining their own pet theory before the ambulances have even arrived. Good on the BBC, I say. And since when did 'millennials' become a pejorative?

Islamic terrorism is jihad, isn't it? I don't think that, as Tony suggested, they do this in order that other Muslims get their asses kicked though.

God knows why Germany gets it in the neck so much from terrorists, when it doesn't go on Blair/Bush style Middle Eastern adventures, and its been so hospitable to Syrian refugees.
2. Specific revenge for Middle East attacks doesn't seem to matter anymore, so much as full blown hatred towards the west. EDIT - 3. ISIS and other terror groups couldn't give a damn about the safety of refugees. |

A British tourist saying it was deliberate is irrelevant. His logic seems to be that the truck narrowly missed him and was travelling at speed, therefore it was "definitely deliberate". Where's the logic in that? Could an accident not look identical?

And since when did 'millennials' become a pejorative? ![]() They could at least say a lorry was driven into a crowded market, putting the onus on the actual lorry is getting weird, it's not like this hasn't happened before in France. I listened to the eye witness, sounded pretty sure the way it was driven was deliberate. |

Again, no surprise, assuming true.
There were always going to be terrorist elements among the refugees. Don't you know EVERY single refugee is a law abiding hard working tax payer? |

They have indeed reported the known facts. Also, tragic accidents are not uncommon either.

No it's not, it's a matter of ensuring fact before reporting. Stick with this and you won't go far wrong as they aren't in the business of scrabbling to be first with "breaking news" or presumptuous headline grabbers.
I wouldn't trust anything they said really. Wait and see what the bloke they caught has to do with it, I guess. |
