Nicole confirms her 2017 return?
On Nicole's latest Instagram post about being in the UK this year for XF she said "Until next years madness". Do you think this confirms her for 2017 XF?

The link doesn't work for me but hasn't it been all but confirmed that they're keeping the judging panel the same next year?

Edited the link, it now works.
Yeah It's pretty much a given but still exciting seeing something in writing from one of the judges, even if it's not 100% confirmed. |

Think itll be the same panel. Usually by now someones rumoured to be leaving and usually does. I remember Nick Grimshaw axe claims came before the final, same with Gary and Sharon in 2013. and the rumours of Mel B leaving came about as soon as she missed the final.

Though if they'd just swapped Gary for Simon they'd have arrived at the current panel two series earlier. Would it have helped the show? I don't think it would have fallen as low as it did last year; the 2013 series held up relatively well in the ratings when compared to the 2012 series. |

Yes I reckon if Simon wasn't so adamant of having Cheryl with him on his return, we could have seen the same panel from 2013 (Gary/Simon Swap). I think with that consistency and the chemistry... it might have worked. As displayed with the rumour of another year with Sharon next year, she could have been talked around to stick around for 2014, 2015 etc...

I hope the judging panel remains the same for next year. I think the quick turnover of judges since 2010 is one of the key factors in the public interest of the show dwindling. After all, if the judges want to leave/are sacked after each year, it gives the impression that the series wasn't a success.

Nicole is entertaining in a sweet and quite eccentric way. Simon seemed memerised by her this year. She's also highly articulate and gives intelligent feedback compared with some of the other judges who think it's acceptable to throw a few 'amazings' and 'incredibles' around . Cheryl will be too busy raising Baby Payne to be on the panel again.

Yeh that does seem like a subtle confirmation to me. I do honestly think next year will stay exactly the same. Love Sharon and Nicole and strangely Louis didn't bug me as much this year. Cant put my finger on why but think Bravato or whatever they were called going out in week 1 helped. Think if they stayed in longer louis would have got more and more annoying as the weeks went on

You could probably swap Mel B in for Sharon or Nicole if one or both can't do it, but other than that I can't see any big changes. I think it will be a combination of them, along with the possibility of Cheryl and Tulisa on some sort of rotation until the show ends.

I don't think Sharon will be back. She's stated her loyalty is to CBS for The Talk. Flying back and forth to Hollywood meant she was only able to do it 3 days a week while the live shows were on. I doubt CBS will be happy for it to happen again next year.

In regards to The Talk - I think that is totally negotiable as she only misses shows during the 10 week live show period. They filmed sections of the show (X Factor) a lot earlier this year to accommodate Osbourne on her summer break from The Talk. I'm sure 10 weeks won't be too much of problem for CBS if she sticks with them full time throughout the remainder of the year.

Yes, that seems like a confirmation of sorts.
