Christmas Eve as normal

Christmas day

1am Ross
5am Jack
9am Toby Tarrant
12pm Johnny Vaughan
3pm Ricky Wilson
6pm Jo Good
9pm Clint Boon (til 1am)

Boxing day

1am Rich Walters
5am Issy
9am Phil Clifton
12pm Jo Good
3pm Dan OC
7pm Ross
10pm Jimmy Hill

Good to see Radio X trying new presenters but 5am is a stupid time to do a breakfast show!

Jimmy Hill? Not the deceased sports pundit, presumably.

Surprised that there's no 'Moyles Takeover' of some sort over the holidays.

Radio X are set to go presenter free on NYE with a Jukebox type of show. Asking the public online for requests.

The Ian Collins show used to do the same thing in the old Talkradio days - no adverts or interruptions.

Not sure it's a breakfast show, they always have a early show weekends at 5am before the main weekend morning show starts at 8am.

As it's Boxing Day I'd argue Phil has the main breakfast slot that day.

Much weaker lineup than last year when Jon Holmes was live at 6:30 everyday over xmas

Presumably this is the YouTube fella also regular on 4Music; I *think* (possibly wrongly) this is his radio debut, though most of his Trending Live colleagues have done radio - Vick Hope on Capital Xtra, Maya Jama on Rinse FM, AJ Odudu on Virgin Radio - so the precedent is there...

Quite possibly. I do recall that when given 'free' choice of a track to play on one week's Trending, Jimmy chose an MGMT track, which bodes relatively well...

Hattie Pearson covering Moyles from Wednesday which is a normal weekday, interesting choice of cover how will she compare with Jon Holmes, Vernon or JV who are the only others to have covered for Moyles?

As I said I think it's stupid having a show start at 5am start it at 7 so 1-4, 4-7am, 7-10, 10-1, 1-4 and 4-7

Surprised they're not doing a pre-record, like Vernon did last year.

At no point someone has stated that the first hour would be live. There has been the odd show that has done a pre-recorded hour, so Hattie could've done that and started the live part after 6am?
