Now I really like Eamonn and Ruth presenting This Morning, but the one thing that annoys me is Eamonn interrupting Ruth.

Today, Ruth was commenting during a phone in and Eamonn talked right over her, no apology, causing her to look a bit embarrassed. A couple of minutes later, they both started talking at the same time - as you do sometimes - and he had the cheek to glare at her and say 'would you let me speak?!'

I wonder if he's like this at home, I imagine Ruth doesn't let him get away with it there, she seems like quite a strong lady.

He obviously attended "The David Dimbleby School of Presentation."

He's one (of many) interviewers who doesn't listen to what the interviewee is saying. His career peaked when he was a farming reporter on UTV.I see he has finally stopped perpetuating the myth that he is constantly being offered huge sums of money to join a rival broadcaster.

What got me though was that he very deliberately interrupted Ruth, making her look quite insignificant, and then had the cheek to accuse HER loudly of not letting him speak shortly afterwards!

Thank you! I wondered if it was just me thinking this. I was pretty hacked off with his interrupting when he interviewed the couple about their daughter's death in that folding cot. There were several times when the parents were talking and trying to express their grief, and he butted in and took the conversation in a totally different direction.

More or less. Both are repellant excuses of what is supposed to pass as straight talking when in fact it is insulting grandstanding to boost their own ego.

Both of them seem to have a very patronising attitude towards women which is not ideal in these PC-correct days.

Similar presenters who you love or hate, it is only a matter of time before Ben or Piers leave GMB and Eamonn is brought in as a replacement

I find him very rude and dismissive to Ruth all the time. He doesn't listen to anyone at all, loved the sound of his own voice too much !!!
