I always go here
Xbox One : https://www.reddit.com/r/GreatXboxDe...box_one_deals/
Xbox 360 : https://www.reddit.com/r/GreatXboxDe...box_360_deals/

So far i think the deals aren't that great. I may get Recore, but most of it is still far too much money. At these prices, it doesn't even really feel like a sale.

Honestly, these deals and the daily deals are pretty poor. So far we have had a rehash of the Black Friday Deals and games with gold games. The only games you don't see on sale often are really pricey. This sale is turning out to be another waste of time.

Microsoft love to big up these sales but they rarely deliver. We haven't had a good sale since that publisher sale we had a few months back.

At least it's better than Playstations deals though. Unless you live in America, you just get scraps.

I dunno, a lot of the games in this sale are cheaper in the current PSN sale. A few quid here and there, sometimes more. Think MS are just trying to make the right noises, I'm sure they'll make someone happy...

I bought Battlefront season pass for £15.99, thought that was pretty good. Life is Strange was one of the deals of the day for £4 which is a bargain for a great game.

But I'm glad there's not many deals I'm interested in, don't think my bank account can handle any more lol

Maybe they don't want to put unnecessary strain on the servers, busy day for them

Well Batman - The Telltale Series is discounted for the next few days on Gold.
Episode 1 is currently free and the season pass for Episodes 2-5 is £10 so I've grabbed that to play at some point

Nope, it's just the daily deal. £11 in the PSN January sale so I thought we might see it on the XB sale at some point. Not bad, though. I played the 1st ep a few weeks ago, the last time it was free.

Battlefront collection deal yesterday was bosh - again, they were cheaper in a sale a month or so back.

I'd been holding out for the nascar expansion for forza 6 to drop a little. So got it for £8.

Nothing else there though.

Compared to sales over the years, i think we can say that this year has been incredibly disappointing for Xbox. I thought in the first quarter of the year we were getting some pretty decent deals, but it's been terrible for quite a while now.

Deals with gold has games like GTA5 and Battlefield on sale every other week at prices that have never once been tempting. Then they just mix it with a few other games they put on sale every other month. They make out that these big sales like the Summer Sale, Black Friday and Christmas sale is so amazing but they never really are. If you look at the games on sale, you will see that it's mostly just a big bundle of games that were on sale many times throughout the year with deals with gold.

I look at these sales and the majority of them aren't even close to being tempting. They are priced so high that you may as well just get them cheaper on disc. Also, a lot of the good deals are only available in America. Look at one of the LEGO games for example, $10 in America........£22.50 in the UK. This tends to happen with a lot of the games i am really interested in and it's really frustrating.

Apart from the first quarter, it's been a really crap year for Xbox sales.

It's as if they think folk won't look at other sales running concurrently. I know it can be subjective but both the Steam and PSN sales are much better than this, and PSN deals for the same games have still been managing to beat MS on sale prices.

I picked it up as well. It is good going back to forza 6. I forgot how good it looks and plays. Yet again though, it would have been better to have this content at*launch, same as the porsche pack. Once I go through the expansion I wont be going back to play it, it would of been good to*use nascar and porsches through the main single player campaign.

I wont be buying another forza at launch. Unless scorpio has a forza 7 pack, probably opt for a crackdown pack instead. Still haven't bought fh3. Hopefully scorpio will have*a ultimate dlc bundle for cheap at launch

Bought Dead Rising 4. Couldn't get it anywhere (Amazon now have back in stock, but it was sold out!). Literally drove to all supermarkets and GAME around Hertfordshire and not in stock at all. Then went to visit family in Newcastle and drove around there to all supermarkets and GAME stores and couldn't get it either

Did it just sell exceptionally well or did they just not produce enough stock?
