I suspect there will be more cries of "good" than there are of "shame" but i didn't mind him - his enthusiasm for what he was doing was infectious as much as it was probably a bit irritating.

I assume the show will continue without him though, so it'll be interesting to see who they get to replace him.

I thought he was OK, it was the show that's lost me as a viewer. No decent in depth coverage of the new "gadge", endless ads and competition crap. Waste of an hour.

I like him, but I got fed up of the show when it seemed that 25% of it became reading out the prizes in the competition.

That would be a good shout but I think he'd be a bit too restrained for the type of show that they'd want.

Maybe they'll get one of the younger stand up comedians ?. Find someone who's gadget mad but has the required "energy" for the show maybe.

Jason Bradbury is a good presenter/geek person. Pity the program went tits up several years ago.
A bit like Top Gear, I remember when that reviewed cars.

The Gadget Show is still going?!

I haven't watched in absolutely years, probably because ironically technology has made it a bit redundant in that I can just fire up one of many sites or YouTube to learn pretty much everything I would ever want to know about the latest gadgets!

It is

For me, I do think it lost a lot of what made it watchable a long time ago. They ditched the studio segments and it eventually became what it is now which is a collection of standalone featurettes on certain gadgets or technology.

Each featurette has a running time when it starts so at least it makes it easier to know how many minutes to skip forward i suppose

I can't say I dislike him, but I always wonder how anyone with a lisp gets a presenting job?

Thing is, a lot of their reviews don't appear to bear any relation to the products I have purchased in the past. If I had took notice of what they said about certain products I would never have purchased anything. I found them to be generally inaccurate.

Really like Jason, thought of him as the main presenter of the show and he has so much enthusiasm about gadgets. Won't be the same without him. It's just Bentley left from the original presenters.

What about Suzi Perry coming back? Not sure if she left on good terms but she's no longer doing F1, after the BBC ended their coverage contract early.

I don't think they've ever really set out to be any kind of comprehensive review show. It's always been that "magazine" style where it's more about an easily digestible, "fun" show that deals in broad strokes rather than anything else.

I like the fact that with some gadgets, they give them 'real world' reviews and invent scenarios that might occur during every day use so you can see what could happen. I think it's a better way of doing it than of watching a point by point breakdown of something.

Suzi won't go back. Not only is she signed to be BT Sport's Motorsport lead, but I do think the manner in which she was let go from the show means that she won't go back.

Saying that though, I think relations must have thawed slightly in the past few years because she's frequently been seen in old clips from the show and that didn't happen for a fair while after she left.

I FF through most of it. Unless you like motorised roller skates, laptops that can be dropped from the roof of a multi-story car park and the '3-item Which? test' this show is what PVR skip buttons are made for.

Simon Cowell lets his unwanted staff say they resigned rather than him sacking them, so I wonder if bald, lisping, dressed like an American teenage skateboarder, act like an over-excited schoolboy Jason jumped before he was pushed.

Amy Williams has just announced that she has left, too.

But she is pregnant.
