I'm not liking that at all. The whole non-consensual rape with Ellie is ridiculous.... Very bad story telling

So all it took was Cleo telling Cameron he was a decent man and his conscience wakes up.

I hoped the story would be good and very clearly hard to tell, like them laughing and kissing and falling onto her bed, her taking his top off then cut to black, her waking with more missing than just her pants, and us honestly not knowing what happened, her with no memory him being hazy, he was as drunk as her, so hard to consent from either side

I agree, plus Nick has been portrayed as a really nice person up to now, although endorsing Dirk's scam might well herald a change of character, which will annoy me as I would have liked a decent youngster with no iffy background

he did seem pretty level headed and normal, it would have been better to show it from the view of the bloke as well, being accused and having no idea if it was true and panicking when hes next with a woman

I don't think Cameron enjoys killing in the same way as Lindsey and Silas did/does. He either gets a red mist like with Nico and Sam* and Danny* ( * accepting the retcon reluctantly) or he gets himself into a state and panics because he digs himself into a hole (Lockie and Celine).

He's a bit like Nico, she had an appalling problem solving technique, too. He has a problem, he kills it. Although the only alternative now is to be found out. But he almost (and unnecessarily) killed Cleo and that finally shook him.

I love the Nightingale family. Wasn't overly keen on Ellie at first but Sophie Porley is playing her so well, and her current scenes are heartbreaking. Especially loved her scenes with the fantastic James.

Nick won't be murdered. They'll want to show that they're "taking it seriously" by having a trial, albeit he will probably be acquitted like Dean in EE (although, in fairness, a case like Nick and Ellie's likely WOULD end in a not guilty verdict or be thrown out of court)

I can see that happening for the sake of drama i.e. just as Jesse finds out Cameron murdered Celine he also finds out he's knocked up Cameron's girlfriend/wife (depending on whether or not they go through with the wedding, though I think they will.) But it's been so long with no mention of the babydaddy dilemma, bringing it up again will feel out of nowhere ...

I've said before I think it could be Zak's. They had a tender scene a while ago that seemed out the blue then last night they were really sweet together. I got the sense she'd seen it before with her comment about enjoying it.

Oh gosh, that makes sense. Especially because if Leela were to have a mixed race baby that would be immediately obvious, no way for her to hide it from dear old Cam ...

I recall Zak and Holly having a quick tumble but not Zak and Leela.

Leela got blotto and shagged someone after a row with Cameron. We were led to believe it was Jesse (with whom she'd been drinking and flirting earlier in the evening) but it would be typical of HOs to pull a "surprise" and reveal it's someone else ...

I reckon we'll know if it's Zak's by Christmas

Why is there so much focus on those god-awful Nightingales? I can rarely be bothered watching now because it's all about that tedious bunch, for some unfathomable reason.

I haven't watched tonight's yet but I wouldn't be surprised if it was Zak. Both moments seemed so random to me and Jesse was too obvious. I've never got the impression they had sex just throwing out there the moments to confuse us

Best family in the show, better than the tiresome Lovedays or McQueens.

I'm not sure about that, but even if true, that's not saying much.

I'm inclined to agree. The individuals in that family work best with characters that are not other family members. Between themselves the Nightingales don't really gel with each other except for Alfie who seems to fit with everyone which is kind of ironic as he's with Cindy at the moment. Recently they've tried to open James up as a supportive figure which helps slightly but still something doesn't click.

I suspect that James is not Macs child.
