I do like these two being at the forefront of the show now both are very good in the roles at the moment and the stuff modern teens go through.

This new producer seems to have much better younger characters, than the previous producer who didn't have a clue how to write young people

However it's the end of the game of this story we are waiting for and what happens .

I still don't completely trust Louise in her looking out for her mate role in this.

Louise has improved, I don't find them annoying except Shakil.

I think they're terrible. Their heavy involvement is the only thing dragging the show down for me at the moment, the rest of it is great.

I've been watching a Norwegian show called Skam recently, which is about teenagers in a similar age group. The realism in that is astonishing. They look, talk and act exactly how you'd expect teenagers to in 2016. EE writers simply can't keep up with their "Snapback!" and "OMG he's changed his status to single!" It's all so try hard.

It's non stop angst with these two and Louise changes her personality to suit the scene she's in. Much preferred the likes of Tiff and Bianca who knew how to have some fun.

Best teens ever? I think not...

Bex is Ok, but I find Louise unbelievable as a teen, she is more of a young woman ( in looks) Shak is a waste of space.

This is still a big problem for Louise. She's spent weeks obsessed with Bex and Shakil's sex life (to the point where she ran out of her house when she saw Bex leave Shakil's so she could get all the goss), now she berating them for offloading their troubles on her because she's suddenly worried about her dad. I don't feel like I'm watching the same character. She just acts how the plot demands.

Bex and Shakil are just a C plot that has been given way too much screen time.

Because teenagers from separate countries act just the same...

If you watch the series you'll see they face exactly the same issues that teenagers here face. It's not like Norway is a third world country or something.

The dialogue is very, very poorly done. Not at all in touch with modern young people.

Bex and Louise are two of the best teens they ever had on EE, and also the two with the most air between their ears.

I honestly believe they will develop into great characters when they're older.

I find them very believable as friends.
One slightly more domineering (Louise) than the other.

They kind of remind me of a young Mel and Lisa.

I don't find them believable as friends at all.

I still think Louise has just wanted Shakil all this time tbh.

Louise is a good character. Bex is quite bland however.

Surely Ian and Sharon were better teenagers?

I have to agree. The friendship feels very real, unlike of the Pouting Princesses, Lauren and Lucy, who did nothing but bitch at each other and get off with the other's latest boyfriend.

Well, I agree with you on that. Lauren and Whitney's friendship was always more genuine(as in they seemed to actually get along and enjoy each other's company).

I suppose you could say there are friendships like Lucy and Lauren's(though they were never the kind of friendships I ever had any time for).

The latter's friendship seemed mostly based on the fact that they friends since they were kids(2006). Also, I don't know that Lucy was ever capable of having any other kind of friendship.

Very true. Lucy and Lauren seemed to have a very shallow friendship. A, dare I say it, Mean Girls-esque friendship. I agree that Lauren and Whitney feel much more natural. Hell, even Stacey has a more natural flow with Lauren now than Lucy ever did.

I think Stacey has some ok friendships as a teenager, although again she was always the "gobby one" bossing them around (Ruby, Danielle etc).

Watching Bex and Shaktil it's hard to believe that they can really be as wooden actors as they come across as. More especially Shaktil.

The sooner Bex gets packed off to live with his mother and Shaktil goes off to his father the better. Or better goes off along with his mother.

Bex is relatively decent... Louise has about seven personalities though!

When I was that age I was quite reserved and often covered up.

Everyone is different. We don't all the same levels of confidence. Nor do we exist to be ornaments, but sadly it seems if we don't put ourselves on display then we're regarded as frigid or prudes.

You're a 41 year old man going on about how a 15 and 16 year old are prudes for 'staying covered up' (AKA wearing completely normal clothes.) What the hell is wrong with you?
