You're a 41 year old man going on about how a 15 and 16 year old are prudes for 'staying covered up' (AKA wearing completely normal clothes.) What the hell is wrong with you?

Exactly. He's old enough to be their father.

It's most disconcerting.

I like Bex, but Louise a little pot stirrer, still I guess she is a Mitchell.

I think they're terrible. Their heavy involvement is the only thing dragging the show down for me at the moment, the rest of it is great.

I've been watching a Norwegian show called Skam recently, which is about teenagers in a similar age group. The realism in that is astonishing. They look, talk and act exactly how you'd expect teenagers to in 2016. EE writers simply can't keep up with their "Snapback!" and "OMG he's changed his status to single!" It's all so try hard.
BIB You have just gone up in my estimations Elly, love Skam

Louise looks about 25 and I can't see past Lisa just giving up on her. At least before they wrote in that Lisa had gone through a breakdown. This time round we're expected to believe she just doesn't care, even though we saw Louise on the phone to Lisa lying about being at school in one of Louise's early appearances. So Lisa was obviously concerned about Louise then.

It's brilliant isn't it?! I'm obsessed with it. I love the female friendships, and Isak and Even are the most ridiculously cute couple I've ever seen.

Nothing is wrong with me, as both Actresses are over 18.

You weren't talking about the actresses, you were talking about the characters. Go back and read your post again.

And any case it's still gross. Teenage girls are not objects designed to meet the male gaze. They can wear whatever the hell they want without some guy, who should be old enough to know better, getting annoyed because they're not walking round in skimpy clothes.

Yup, not a patch on Michelle, Ian, Kelvin and Sharon back in the 1980s.

I don't think Louise looks 25. She doesn't exactly look her age, but age can be hard to pin down.

Looking at the actress, she probably was just as tall at 14/15 as she is now. Majority of young women reach their full height by early teens. People have a tendency to equate height with age. If you are young and tall - you are often assumed to be older and vice versa.

Yes, she seems somewhat too old to be Louise's age right now, but in a year or two it won't really be as bad. If the actress was a few inches shorter, I don't think as many people would be having an issue with her looks - she has a fairly young looking face(big eyes).

If by 'best' you mean 'most farfetched with no basis in reality' then I agree entirely.

The dialogue is very, very poorly done. Not at all in touch with modern young people.
How would you know, you've not been young for at least 8 years

I do like these two being at the forefront of the show now both are very good in the roles at the moment and the stuff modern teens go through.

This new producer seems to have much better younger characters, than the previous producer who didn't have a clue how to write young people

However it's the end of the game of this story we are waiting for and what happens .

I still don't completely trust Louise in her looking out for her mate role in this.
Have you watch EE since 1985 ?

Louise has much in common with Lucy. Both manipulative, selfish users. I could never understand Jane's forgiveness of Lucy who had plotted against her and then shot her, thus ensuring she could never have children of her own.

Louise is now, apparently, up in arms that Jay may have to leave the Mitchell household because he's on the Child Protection register, but she is the main reason he is on the register, having neglected to tell him that his girlfriend was actually in her form at school.

But otherwise bang on.

I really don't buy the sudden friendship of Louise and Bex once 'Star' left her on-screen role either...

Louise found out about Star the same day Jay did.
