I have no issue with his hair but he's a complete creep. I was cheering Martin on tonight and I wish he would've walloped him because it's long overdue.

He needs to be killed off

Why did Carmel and Kush act like Shakil had done nothing wrong when talking to Martin? Martin was right to be angry he should have smacked him. He used Bex for sex after pressurising her into it.

Bex should be thankful she didn't send those pictures he was after - he'd be bound to put them around online. He said as much. A really nasty character.

At least Dean could act.

As for the hair.. In real life wouldn't a boy with a hairstyle like that be mercilessly mocked by everyone at school and out of it? And constantly nagged about it by his mother? To put up with that and keep it like that he'd have to be quite remarkably selfconfident, the reverse of the way the character comes across.

I never realised until very recently the actor who plays Shakil (Shaheen Jafargholi) is the same guy who sang at Michael Jackson's funeral.

When his hair was down at the play rehearsal he reminded me of the first Blackadder (in the middle ages)
He's so sulky and such a downer ....even when he was supposed to have been in the good part of his relationship with Bex. They didn't seem to have any fun at all !

Yep this is exactly where I'm struggling with this storyline, in that we are being asked to believe that Bex is so obsessed and so in love with this guy , yet he has NO redeeming features whatsoever.

He is permanently sulky, rude, uncaring, and even for Eastenders he's taken the definition of miserable to whole new level!!! Just a pointless addition to the cast and seemingly only just to boost Bonnie Langford's family. Which would be fine if they cast a character who had a personality!

He plays the part well I can say that.

Horrid character and I find this storyline awful to watch but there are many boys like that and it happens all the time.

I can't stand either of them. Kush is the only member of that family I like.

I'm liking him more under SoC and if the storyline goes down the body dysmorphia route as it seems to be doing it could be the making of him.
