EE: do we know for sure that the double drowning is actually happening?
It just seems farcical and unnecessary and out of keeping with the naturalistic pastoral tone SOC has established so far. Why can't Ronnie go off to Essex and Roxie Ibiza?

I doubt the stories have come from nowhere so there must be some truth somewhere in them but yeah totally unnecessary and bizarre really if true.
I would have preferred it if one of Ronnie's previous crimes had come back to haunt her on the wedding day and she was chased out of town likewise with roxy she could have been on the run from some drug deals. I can only presume when they were having a storyline meeting they wanted some column inches or something they hadn't done before, but it's all a bit too dallas for my liking and I'm clinging to the hope the rumours are false. |

I'm hoping they're not true but Phil has to get a liver from somewhere. In soapworld of course one of the sisters livers will be a perfect match ..
Personally, i think a far better storyline would be Phil getting Lee Carters liver! Lee's depression ending in suicide would be a very realstic current and fitting ending to his character, a family friend committed suicide last week aged 21 Its really a topic which would work on EastEnders current ''realism'' approach. Lee could be on the donor list and his liver would go to Phil. This could open up even more storylines in the future between the Carters and the Mitchells. This would be on almighty great twist. However I dont think any twists are in store on this show anymore and I have no doubt Lee will get some bog standard ending. sigh. |

We know nothing. Although it is likely that Ronnie dies.
Now Roxy is back on drugs there is a possibility that Ronnie chooses her sister over Jack following the wedding. Then takes her away somewhere to clean her out. Meanwhile Phil really does die and we have it all wrong. This scenario seems unlikely. My money is on that Ronnie dies trying to save Roxy. Phil gets Ronnie's liver and Roxy either dies too or leaves Walford in disgrace and shame. |

Sharon Marshall pointed out yesterday that they filmed things outside to throw people off because the paps were around taking photos - and what has been 'leaked' to the papers isn't necessarily the actual outcome.

I really think it has to just be one of the two sisters that dies. Considering how close they are, it's a waste from a plotline point of view for not one of them to survive and then have to cope without the other. If they both die you don't get much of an aftermath. The rest of the Mitchells will probably get over it pretty quickly.

My suspicions are that Ronnie tries to save Roxy and ends up in hospital brain dead. Jack or Roxy then have to decide whether or not to turn off the life support machine. Phil is a match for the liver and in a massive bypass of reality gets Ronnie's.
Roxy will either die instantly before Ronnie can save her or leaves in shame. |

I cant stand this Phil Mitchell new liver storyline, how can a man like Phil ever be considered for a new liver? I know you dont get a say in who gets your organs when you die, but I wouldnt expect mine to go to someone like Phil.

They could both be matches. Ronnie's liver is in a slightly better condition than Roxy's so Phil has that one whilst Roxy's liver is kept in the freezer, just in case.

Would be an interesting twist if Phil had Roxy's liver and it sparked off his drug addiction again instead! Haha

I'm not happy about Ronnie and Roxy leaving and don't want either of them to die.
I'm also very worried that Phil will be killed off and his exit from the show has all been kept quiet. |

I have made no secret I am no fan of the most likely exit for the Mitchell sisters, I actually think it sounds atrocious, and its all far too predictable now we know they are dieing that Phil gets Ronnie's liver.

In the BBC trailer there is a car explosion outside a country house. Could this be used for the episode? I also remember someone saying they seen Eastenders filming near a cliff top a while ago. I think they both will die, but they won't use the swimming pool exit. I think the deaths will happen on the square.
