...what's your views on this?

I personally have never witnessed a couple in public displaying this form of....questionable behavior but apparently it exists. I guess it is some form of submissive language that has a slight sexual undertone?

However I have seen porn (home made porn if you please!) where a younger person will call the older person "daddy" during sexual situations. It doesn't exactly arouse me but I can kind of accept it in porn, but in real life in a supermarket store? I don't think so darling.

Only when having sex, not when she wants me to buy her a Fanta.

Fanta? They still make that?

Pop it in the basket for me daddy, I could do with some lubrication.

Do you mean people who use Daddy as a sort of term of endearment to their partner or people who call their partner's male parent Daddy? I don't think I know or am acquaited with anyone who does either of those.

What is more familiar are couples where on becoming parents call each other Mummy and Daddy. I don't just mean in reference such as "go and ask Mummy" or "Say bye-bye to Daddy" But actually adress each other as Mummy and Daddy. Personally I find it odd, rather distant and slightly twee.

Oh dear we do that with our dogs I'll often say go and see daddy or he says mummy's got something in the kitchen for you. We always did if when the kids were young too, I'm not a fan of children using their parents name so mummy and daddy are our chosen naming words.

Never heard of anyone doing this in public, always thought of it as a sex thing.

It's weird to use it in the bedroom.
Obviously I refer to my husband as Daddy to my daughter, and he'd refer to me as Mummy when talking to her.
Otherwise, nuh uh.

Oh yes its fine when talking to the children and I doubt it matters to the dogs one way or another (unless they reply of course! .) But I mean when they become Mummy and Daddy to each other

I see people tweeting celebrities calling them daddy/mummy in a sexual manner. I think it's disgusting and I can't fathom why people would use that word in a sexual manner.

Strange one eh, all a bit Freudian, if the girl has been naughty, it's always , poutingly, " is Daddy going to spank me now " rather than " are you going to spank me now ? "

All this talk of spanking, getting me going now.

I've seen lots of stuff with sexual innuendo in that is from the basis of childhood.

The most recent one was "he's not a daddy until he's holding your legs up in the pamper position"

GASP!
