Its almost five years since pat died
I realised this earlier today. I can't believe its been almost five years, it doesn't feel that long. I think the show definitely misses her.

a soap death that Bryan Kirkwood and the higher ups will never be forgiven for.

Pat didnt need family around to remain relevant. She had friends and most likely would have had lodgers and id probably assume steven would be living with her today and possibly whitney too. Not to mention her and kathy were best friends and she looked after ian when pauline and kathy had gone.
