Was going to buy a buffet warmer for Christmas found one on Amazon at £29.00 + 7.50 p&p, it was late at night so decided to order next day it has risen to £44.99, incredibly the ad says the item is £5.00 cheaper then before.

Has anyone else found things going up overnight that were not in a sale?

Yes, prices can and do jump around by quite a bit.

I was looking at a DVD player (when they were expensive) and the model changed price several times by about £30 - £40. It did eventually stay at one price so after a week of waiting I purchased it.

I had some blank DVDs in my basket but did not order them straight away, went back in to order a couple of days later and they had gone down by 1p.

Have you got a link for this buffet warmer?

I'm looking to buy a soundbar and have used this website to check its price history. The highest is £162.18, the lowest is £63.99 and it's currently £71.99. I'm waiting till the new year before ordering hoping the price will go down then but you never know with Amazon.

Thanks for the link!

Isn't claiming something is cheaper then it previously was yet it is in fact more expensive illegal?

I've been considering a smartphone and went into a local Carphone Warehouse shop in summer. The sales assistant recommended i go for a Samsung J5. Unlocked payg was £140 then.

I wished i'd bought as they are now £200 but has been as low as £90.
