No one likes David even Kylie would rather have her self gutted with a rusty butter knife than be with him.

yeah he's ok

he's a good actor but the writing for him lately is really weird, its like he's just forgot about Kylie and Clayton

i really hope that girl from the pub last week stays away from him tho, i think they should keep him single now Kylie is gone (maybe he might work with Eva or Gemma tho) it'd b just like Roy and Cathy all over again if they put him with her, it better not happen

He's a great character, although I'm not sure that were supposed to either love him or loathe him. The problem is the the writing for him is rather inconsistent and nothing that he's been through seems to bother him. He really should be haunted regularly by some of the things he's done or that have happened in the past but no, we don't get any of that, it's all regularly ruled off and start again, new paragraph, capital letter.

Mind you, the same should apply to Gail and Sarah too. Their pasts should have shaped them but once each wave of water is under the bridge, everything is suddenly calm again. Even Gail is over Michael's death rather quickly and as for Sarah who was permanently freaked out over Callum's killing, it's like now Kylie's dead and Clayton's banged up, everything that happened is irrelevant and forgotten, even if they did stitch up Sarah's best friend's dead Dad as the culprit.

I put that down to the script. He plays a version of himself and manages to say his lines.
Really?! I had absolutely no idea they did that(!)

Just updating to let you know I'm using another computer and yes I was right, my Google Chrome was the problem can see your little Devil now! Must be the future spawn of Demon David's.

David has his moments I prefer him when he's up to no good though
I do not like characters who are up to no good

Really?! I had absolutely no idea they did that(!)
'Actors' who play themselves are obliged to.

Nooooo? Tell me more! You'd be telling me the houses they're living in aren't real and are all film sets next!

His acting during Kylie's death scene brought out the best in him.

Gail likes him as she is willing to lie to the authorities to cover for him. Although her heart is still with her precious Nicky.

Poor Sarah.

Brian and Ivy always favoured Nicky and now Gail with Nicky and David.

I agree that the bad writing is a serious issue.

However, I love David's witty hilarious one liners and is still my present favourite character.
