EE - Most underused character in 2016?
Which character should have been used a lot more in the last 12 months?
For me it's Johnny, I don't know why they bothered bringing him back as they've done diddly squat with the character. |

Shirley hasn't had much to do for ages. We didn't even see much reaction when Buster disappeared.
I agree with the posters above that Johnny has been very underused and Lauren's return has been pretty pointless too. |

Shirley has had a low key year.

It would be nice to see Donna given a story.

Steven, Johnny and Shirley have all had a relatively quiet year but I suspect that will change with the exits, and Linda disappearing for a while.

I agree, I love Donna. She has a very droll sense of humour like myself. I approve of her and I think Lisa is a decent actress.

Yes, I think Lisa is capable of a lot more than she's been given. I really appreciate the droll humour too.

The last significant storyline she had was the ludicrous pregnancy one. Think she's far better than that rubbish.

I'd actually add Patrick. Rudolph's a quality, versatile actor and Patrick's probably the patriarch of Walford. No other male role models in a place of crooks and those who can't keep it in their pants.
A sound, decent bloke with a devilish sense of humour. Really shone with the stroke storyline and looks like he could have another one as a focal point for another health or personal issue which may come when Denise gives birth. Would like to see him deal with a bereavement or someone close to him having a terminal illness. God that sounds too depressing doesn't it? |

I think the pregnancy storyline had the potential to be a good one but it was ruined by the ridiculous decision to have Donna fixate on Vincent as the baby daddy, and by DTC's goldfish attention span. The idea of a disabled woman trying to bring up a baby on her own, and society's perceptions of that, could have given Donna some excellent material but they screwed it up. A shame.

MyLauren. As underused as she is over-clothed.

She's swapping the droopy mouth expression with Linda, hope she can manage ownership when the doll from the Vic leaves the show albeit temporaraily.

I agree with those already mentioned. I'd like Stacey and Martin to get a proper s/l. Ditto Kush and Vincent. There seem to be a lot of characters that just float around to make up the numbers.
