Ashley was a terrible vicar! Harriet's much better, as was the stand in they had after Ashley resigned the first time.

You're going to say all that in an article which is reporting Ashley's dementia?

Well, saying 'the best vicar the village had ever dad' was a bit OTT. The report could have said something like 'will be remembered fondly by his parishoners'.

It's what Jackson would've wanted.

Not going to lie I really liked and much preferred Alt-Aaron too.

(For the record I'm actually very neutral towards Real-Aaron, neither like nor dislike him.)

Watching on catch up:

Doug is obviously a Tory as he is making "difficult decisions"

The Ronald McDonald hat got a mention, always a good thing.

Aaron could have looked a tad more endearing towards Laurel, he made it look like it was a chore.

"Kiss and make up" Leyla

Tracey, listening in And why would you have that conversation in the middle of the shop?

Didn't look to me like putting Ashley in a home would remotely be a difficult decision for Doug, looks like he's looking forward to it.

But if you are thinking of doing a mercy killing and getting away with it, it is best to speak to an expert.

I think I could like Aaron if he relaxed a bit and stopped coming across as surly and miserable all the time, even when he's supposed to be happy.

The actor has the same sour facial expressions and delivers his lines in the same tone of voice regardless of Aaron's mood.

Well, that's not what we've seen on the screen. We've seen plenty of laughing happy and smiley Aaron, especially since the end of the child abuse saga. Even during the abuse story we saw him smiling and happy - just recall the scenes of him on the beach with Chas in the very early part of the year.
