The original series 1 TiVo provided line-up changes as a message on the day of the changes. Quote:
They only seem to be using the TiVo messaging service to send out automated tips on how to get the best out of the box.
Someone once did suggest to them (Carl?) that this could be used for such things as new channel announcements, EPG changes etc and they seemed very interested in doing this. I'm surprised that they never followed this through; the only times that I've ever received any messages are hints & tips after one TiVo and one V6 were installed. |

V6 does have a BUG that I hope will be fix soon....
It's when you switch on the box seem to not work as some times no images and sound other on images with sound. to fix power off then back on and all is fine.... It may be that the box has used all 6 turners and does not know which one to use or there is chip trouble handling video ...??? |
