BT has put out many adverts over 2016 and they have given customers good deals with TV, Broadband etc. but what is going happen in 2017 for BT TV services ?

We have had some new channels in 2016 SD & HD and also UHD sports too so will BT spend out and give customer more UHD or HD channels, will BT make big changes to the Youview software now the box can be updated quicker then the past due to Youview now using HTML 5 software and Cloud services ( servers ) ???

Will BT change colour of the software and give full colour channel logos like VM does ?

Will BT bring UHD films or even more 3D films to there services in 2017 ?

Will BT bring out extra plus TV package in 2017 with Sky 1 HD Sky Living HD and Sky Cinema HD and other sky channels ?

Will BBC bring there UHD iPlayer to BT Youview in 2017 as they are testing the service on Virgin Media new UHD boxes.

Unlikely to see any channels from Sky, unless they can finally bury the hatchet............ Nope, can't see that happening next year.

I predict Discover History, Home & Health and Shed to be added to bt tv. I am making a prediciton- completely random, no basis of fact that Box Nation will be added, I am predicting a new youview interface.

Not much else beyond thnat, but I hope BT will make their films UHD to have access and maybe rather than buy individual have an extra subscriotion for access to the films.

3D has never really taken off with TV so don't think BT will go down the 3D route.
Cant see the likes of Sky1 or that coming to BT TV anytime soon.
There is a new Youview software update coming in January that will give Youview a new look.
Also BT are to update there BT TV app come the Spring.
Would welcome Discover History if it got added to BT TV for its a channel dad may like.

As an American expat, I'd welcome PBS America either to BT or Freeview.
