As there isn't a section on the forums for discussing this sort of thing I thought I'd put it here. Has anyone seen these, or even got one? They look and sound amazing just opening up the box they come in:

That would be pretty cool, I hadn't thought of that, there's probably a lot of other things from movies that could be made into drones.

I'd probably spend more time opening the box than flying it.

It's not the future, it happened a long time ago (in a galaxy far,
far away...)

I knew someone would say that. If the story was being told in the Andromeda or another galaxy it'll be about our galaxy. But, as I said/explained in a video on my You Tube channel a long time ago is Lucas's version of once upon a time. But apart from that everything in Star Wars points to the far distant future in our galaxy with our decendents.

When they've got one of Serenity, I'll jump on board.

Check out the FliteTest YouTube channel. They test commercially available RC aircraft and drones as well as designing and building their own.

This is a little Star Wars 'tribute' they've put together, sponsored by the company who make the drone you mentioned, and they say they'll be testing the Propel products in the near future.

First target: the house where they mostly film Geordie Shore.
